This same thing they did to my twin when she was working in Eko Hotels as far back as 2002.

Immediately the men left, the 250k they paid for the cash register they purchased turned to papers.

I pray they get them.

It is a common happening around here in Edo state, coupled with fake alert, payment of merchandise with fake currency...the list is endless
The one that baffled me the most is when a friend went to the bank to perform some transactions, no and behold, a lady walked up to him, seeing he has some change of two hundred and five hundred amongst his cash at hand, she beseeched my friend to help her with five thousand naira change, comprising of two hundred and five hundred, my guy obliged and gave to her as demanded but immediately she walked out of the banking hall, the whole one thousand naira notes became a hundred naira note and all the cash not amounting up to five thousand naira ; someone that went to bank with over 70k

I pray I don't fall for them too. I know they are professionals at what they do and anybody can be a victim but most of this traders make it too easy. They are always in a hurry so they could sell more, they judge a person by his/her appearance. I can bet the person that did it was dress in a respectable manner. Always focus on your business and trust nobody. Appearance is deceiving. All your customers are strangers so don't be too quick to give your goods away
