No trade or entry is surer than the other, treat each trade equally... Don't get emotionally attached to any trade...

When the market opens i will sell. If it gaps up i will sell, if it gaps down i will wait for it to fill the gap before selling. TP will be 1784.71

When the market opens i will sell. If it gaps up i will sell, if it gaps down i will wait for it to fill the gap before selling. TP will be 1784.71

if it breaks yesterdays high then i will close the sell, should have waited for a follow through red candle before entering.

I've observed that most traders here don't factor in candlestick formation for their entries..

I've been training my eyes to spot patterns on the charts and I've been making progress but my setback has been on entering the trade after analysis, some times I enter too early and sometimes I'm just too late.

How do you do it?
