How to manually update..
After Downloading
Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11/12 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

... And I lost my 2 months old redmi note 9 yesterday while on transit due to late schedule. Quickly blocked the sim linked with my account, login my mi account then fiam, locked the phone and sent a command message for whoever that found it. Last tracked showed that phone was somewhere at Otigba Street, Computer village. Guess the person in possession of the phone was trying to sell it off but the lock is not making it easy for him. Making plans on how to retrieve my line as new sim is not being sold at the moment. Sworn an affidavit already, went to mtn office same yesterday for the sim replacement just to be told that their network was down. I was like, show! Network provider complaining of network again?

Please help! I just got Redmi 9t .. the apps that came with it are not updating via google play store.. it keeps rotating showing “Download Pending” I have used WiFi and mobile network and is still not going.. the worst is that is also not downloading new apps via same play store ...it just writes “waiting for download” and keeps rotating like that ... browsers are going using WiFi and mobile network but once I enter play store downloading and updating keeps rotating like that... please guys help me with relevant information.
