This act of people 'fighting' for men of God when they are accused of something is worrisome.

These men are infallible and might make mistakes/errors/sin sometimes and they should be called to order.

When a church member does same or is accused of same, these same men of God are 'swift' to judge and punish;

When it comes to them, it becomes 'the devil wants to bring them down'.

Or is correction/punishment/reprove only for the members? undecided

How many of those 70,000 cared that their 'Apostle' was recently accused of sexual immorality and other evils?

Since he says he is a 'man of God', they can only accept him to be so!

It is all in line with what the holy scriptures foretold: wolves in sheep clothing overrunning the church in the last days: Matthew 24:11, and, DECEIVING MANY!

Church is not about numbers but spiritual quality. Many of Jesus disciples left Him. That didn't make Him to be any less approved of God than He was. It in fact confirmed His focus being on pleasing God than on pleasing men.

But those who have the orientation of the world would see that as a failure and if He done the contrary to make the many disciple remain as success, "but wisdom is justified of her children!"
