Looks to me like a case of CTE after many years of heading of balls. Many ex-footballers from the 60s, 70s and 80s in England and all over Europe are all suffering it to a certain extent.

Anyway, one of the best examples of a wing back Nigeria ever had at the time it was not even popular. I remember his penalty miss in Maroc '88 against Algeria. We nearly fainted at home.

Look at the bed he was lying in like a mere consulting clinic and they had they bold effrontery to call that an Intensive Care Unit. Please we should look at the outside world to know how intensive unit looks like.

People die in our hospitals because of lack of necessary medical equipment. Pray to make the money to take care of yourself or loved ones when these type of sickness comes calling.

We lived in the same street while I grew up.

He lived comfortably then in his rented apartment together with his family until the house collapsed one day and he had to move to ikorodu.

I still remember how he carries me up high calling my name twice when I score goals in our street football then.

His children all males were very good footballers also.

Rest in Peace Sir, you served the country when you were needed but the country failed you when you needed her.

cerebral atrophy, a brain disease.
Stopping a solid object travelling at 125 km/h with your head many times may cause this.
Re: Cerebral Atrophy: Yisa Sofoluwe Is Dead (Ex-Eagles Defender) by AlfaB: 11:30am On Feb 10, 2021
Heading balls should either be banned in football or they should wear helmets.

It's called football, not headball.

should Nigeria feed him ?

You make it sound like serving one's country is a burden

This is exactly how corruption starts WITH ENTITLEMENT MENTALITY

Our naira is fast falling in value

What are the citizens producing( exporting)?

In the same country where its. Citizen gets educated for the sake of securing a job ( no zeal for learning)

Tell me if American citizen did things simply because it benefited them rather than their country would there be a USA TODAY

PURSUE EXCELLENCE AND SUCCESS WOULD CHASE AFTER YOU

if Nigerian were very patriotic the govt won't need telling twice to pay them till death

But no they want quick action

Sometimes I ask if they ever think of the future

America is america today beacaue people like. Bill gate , ellon musks , Jeff bezos and co worked towards the future

Electricity is rampant today cos micheal Faraday worked towards the future , cars are rampant today cos Carl benz worked towards the future

So tell me what future are Nigerian working towards

YAHOO YAHOO -future generation would not know the meaning of integrity

Mediocrity- future generation would be in stone age while others are moving forward

Anyway, in my opinion, he left with his dignity intact without begging for alms or money whatsoever. He didn't gratify Oloshos, Corrupt Politicians etc... by begging for their help.

Alcohol consumption and brain atrophy. Heavy alcohol drinkers were at a significantly higher risk of brain shrinkage. Heavy alcohol consumption doubled the risk of brain shrinkage in the 30s to 50s age groups.

Ademola Adeshina and Sofoluwe missed for Nigeria.

Sunday Eguavon played the last one. Before him was Peter Rufai who also scored...

Ladkar Bellomi misses for Algeria and Nigeria won 9-8

Adeshina was sent off in that game. Omokaro had to injure an Algerian player to equal the figures, hence his new nickname 10-10. So Adeshina could not have participated in the penalty shootout.

You are right sir. What a memory you have... Omokaro injured Menad Djamed not sure if the spelling. Before then, Ademola was wasting time to go out and an Algiers player had to push him, he fell and wasted more time in going out.

Algeria had done all their three changes, menad came on after the injury and wanted to continue but his injury wouldn’t let him and he left crying.

I think this team played Nigeria at Enugu during the Olympic qualifier...Eagles beat them 2-0 after playing 1-1 at Algiers...I remember their goal keeper Drid Nacerdine.

First goal came from no where. Ferocious shot, can’t remember who scored but that was the match that ushered Okwaraji into the national team

Re: Cerebral Atrophy: Yisa Sofoluwe Is Dead (Ex-Eagles Defender) by Goco(m):
It is well.

When my Neighbour's son had Brain Abscess...Brain Cancer. It was a serious case. The Doctors said they would operate on him but the father was scared and they were asked to raise over N30 Million Naira for surgery in India.

When another neighbour told me, As a Plant Stem Cell Therapist, I went to introduce Phytoscience Stem Cell Therapy to him. Initially he was skeptical because he didn't have accurate knowledge of how Stem Cells Work so I had to educate him and I administered the Therapy to the boy of 19 yrs.

After two month, they boy started feeling much better. They went for a scan and the doctor was shocked because according to the scan, the brain had healed up back and there was no Wound and Pus coming out from the brain anymore.

The Doctor asked them what they used and they told him. The Doctor asked for my number and they gave him. The next day, I received a text message from an unknown person cursing me and threatening my life for taking away his patient. I didn't know who it was from. The person went on to say he will deal with me for taking away food from his mouth. I became scared becos I didnt know who it was from until after a week the father disclosed to me that the Doctor requested for my number inorder to thank me aswell and he gave it to him. That was when everything became clear to me.

Anyways the boy is fine. He has gone back to school to prepare for his final exams. I'm so happy.

Meanwhile, another patient (a very wealthy man) who also had Brain Cancer and I introduced the same Therapy to refused and didn't believe. The person went for the surgery and DIED in the Operating Room.

Please, if people introduce something to you that can change your life and put an end to your health battle, kindly listen. Don't shun the person away. God might have sent that person just because of you. Pray about it for God might use that person to Heal you. You never can tell.

Stay blessed everyone
