this thread is a scammer's paradise. There are so many desperate people on here seeking the easiest and fastest way to canada. People should be careful on here, whenever someone says I have a sure way/link abeg tell the person to post it here where we can all see. This way honest people can call out the scammers.

Lol.. I'll keep saying it. This thread is full of Nairaland scammers because of the money they think can be easily bombed off people. For me, your experience is no surprise as I know their posts already when I see them. This same individual who attempted to scam might still use his other monikers to condemn the attempt already sef, (abeg suspect my moniker inclusive..) .. Just don't trust nobody, until you're at least 101% certain an individual has earned it!!!

Just like you, I had an encounter with a moniker that goes by a female name (a derivative of the name Chinwe actually) and asked me to send a PM way back when I posted that I needed a contact for one of our transcripts. S/he claimed to be a PhD student in my former school and that s/he would like to help and then offered a 4k reduction in his/her price as compared to what the school charges normally. Me, that I don't even trust the blood brother I never had. I sha kuku played along and enjoyed all his/her Ronaldo-like dribbles while our convo lasted.

To cut the long story short. It was a story of "Lagbaja, nothing for you". I kept a close tab on him/her afterwards here but fortunately for him/her, there was just only two other more posts from that individual before he/she deactivated. Funny enough, months later, I saw a new moniker with a similar derivative with just rearranged letters and I knew immediately he/she is still with us. Back then, he/she told me that PPR was being expected. This new moniker gave testimony of how he/she just passed IELTS.

We just have to be very wary in this thread. I pray none of us ends up losing our hard-earned money to this evil people without any form of conscience as they keep laying their booby traps of scams everywhere. AMEN

That said, this thread is still replete with very great ambassadors you can ever imagine. I've met with few of them and those relationships I already established will be ones I'll forever treasure even after achieving that Canadian dream.

Please I have a question for anyone who's used Iqas recently. I managed to pay early December and have been trying to get the school to send transcript and there was hope they'll send it this week. Now the application status that has been showing 'submitted' changed today to 'pending' with reason as 'waiting for transcripts'. Application received date that was blank now shows Feb 11. They even sent email saying they're expecting the transcripts. And I'm wondering why they're just sending this 2 months after I paid, is this how they used to do?? When I even saw the mail, I tot it was saying they'd received the transcripts.

I got ITA November 25th 2020 but as at then i decided not to pursue because my POF wasn’t complete as the time, now I do and time is against me. It’s 13 days to the stipulated date of 3 months for me to submit all necessary document.

I have every other document but my medicals. No appointment date is available at IOM or Q-LIfe until 12th March. What can I do please

Some typical red flags are:

- someone asking you for your log in information (username and password)
- someone who is not a vendor asking you for your card details
- someone who is not bound by a 8.15 mountain time limit that is written in black and white and applies to everyone (or at least should)

You may not care how he was able to do it so long as you got to pay and it may never become an issue....but consider that actions may have a knock-on effect. What happens if he is an IQAS insider or just a IT guru and an audit reveals some people have been able to pay at odd times and all those evaluations are cancelled? Have you wondered how such a reputable portal would not have protection against traffic being bypassed?....Maybe some of us are just a bit more fearful and suspicious than others.

Also consider your accuser's perspective and the 3 red flags above..all the info you freely gave out is what we are warned time and again to hold dear...surely you can see how that may make you seem like a party to internet fraud.

Lawyers......Phabulous88 has another hack that doesn't cost a thing and there is always CES....... the time people are using to queue at IQAS may be better spent evaluating through CES.

Hey, so you should check for the notes under officer review or confirm what exactly the case processing agent wants the officer to look into it. If you want you can block out personal data and post the screenshot so we could try and decipher with you. Everything will be fine.
