EV startup Hyllion surged today after the company introduced a new generation of battery that’ll improve performance and efficiency.

The company says the new design features advanced cooling technology to enable longer battery life, higher charging rates and improved safety.

Hyliion is developing long-term and short-term electrified powertrain solutions for most commercially available Class 8 trucks. In the short term, it offers a hybrid offering which improves performance and achieve carbon reduction goals.

Hyliion’s long term goal is to provide a fully electric powertrain system called the Hypertruck ERX. The hypertruck offers several unique advantages to its customers, covering performance, fuel efficiency, and accessibility.

According to the company, the powertrain batteries are re-charged using an onboard generator. That means that the generator could effectively convert whatever fuel you put into the truck. This essentially means that the vehicle becomes net carbon-negative, providing it with a major edge over conventional EVs. Moreover, the ERX system will produce roughly 30% of electricity than the costs from the USA’s domestic grids.

Score Media and Gaming Inc. won shareholder approval for a stock consolidation Wednesday, putting the company in a better position to list south of the border.

The sports media and online betting company had sought approval to consolidate shares in preparation for a U.S. stock listing, as it seeks exposure to a broader investor base and deeper capital markets. Some exchanges require a minimum per-share price for listings.

Toronto-based Score Media fell 3.7% Wednesday to C$4.98 as of 3:44 p.m. after six straight daily gains. It’s up about 230% this year, making it the top performer in the Roundhill Sports Betting & iGaming ETF (BETZ) and bringing the company’s market capitalization to about C$2.2 billion ($1.7 billion).

Domestic prospects for sports betting legalization have been a key driver for Score Media’s shares, but its U.S. betting app, theScore, has also beaten some analysts’ expectations. Its sportsbook -- theScore Bet -- “demolished” Canaccord Genuity’s expectations in the fiscal first quarter, said analyst Matthew Lee, who has a buy rating on the stock.

A U.S. listing would also allow investors to compare Score Media against its U.S. rivals, according to Eight Capital analyst Suthan Sukumar, who also has a buy rating on the stock. Sukumar says the company’s plans to launch an online casino product this year is another “lucrative” catalyst.

What can one do then?

At different times of the cycle, market is being controlled by different people.

The market is presently being controlled by artificial money. When the money stops and economy fully opens, I feel money will be moved out and the cycles will retrace.

I only master two things; price action and market cycles. The market moves in cycle.

This market seems saturated to me presently. If you leave money on a penny stock expecting it to be the next Apple, know that you expect Apple to be the next penny stock as the market tries to rebalance. This is an efficient market with a perfect beta. Stick to your strategy.

Please, what happens when a company files for bankruptcy. I can see that the stock price of some oil companies that filed for bankruptcy late last year is gradually coming back up. Can one invest in it now that oil prices is gradually increasing?

They are actually company apps verifiable by a visit to their offices in Lagos or via phone.
I have spoken to them on phone and via whatsapp and gotten clarifications from them on certain matters.
Since US based brokers cant do a proper due diligence on you due to geographical location, these companies do due diligence via certain KYC documents just as is required when opening a bank account with a compulsory demand for your BVN to afford us the opportunity to open trading accounts.

The safety is in the fact they are fully registered with US licenced brokers and so save investors in the diaspora the hassles of requiring US residency to be able to invest.

So in reality I can invest in US stock as a Nigerian and get my profits into my nigeria account without rigorous processes.

I'm not trying to be rude or mean, and I welcome legit questions, but please, DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS unless you have first read from page 1- to current page before I you DM me.

I put a lot of time into research and plays and get frustrated with people asking questions that are already answered in the thread. I don't want to come across insulting, but it is rude and lazy to not do the study that is already given to you and then ask me for answers that are already listed .

They refused to allow new intakes

I'd suggest people exercise caution with the way they dump information here. Especially copying from other platforms. The effect on the short term may create an image of a guru but on the long term, many fingers will be burnt and images battered.

If you don't to "show your workings", use the bikini � approach, show some and keep some. Let the trader/investor complete the last lap of due diligence.
