the problem se is facing now is having a bunch of skillful and creative winger with zero goal sense I just finishing the clips of kalu, chuks, moses, ejuke ....if we can see a poacher that can take advantage of the creativeness of this winger then the team will improve to a certain extent if we're relying on the goal of chuks and kalu then we have a long way to go and don't tell me nacho ....he might be skillful, great eyes for pass and he is technical but has a long way to go with his eye for goal and positioning his first touch has also improve significantly, am proud of the fact we have more depth in the CF position rohr should rather be settling for a poacher rather than a target man, Shadow striker, trequista

Mukairu wey no get better stats for Belgium and turkey self
mukairu is a potential lad too
but I think he should be rather integrated into the U-23 than the SE setup
he is player full of promises he will come up good.
also I noticed desser is no.more the rave of the moment chaiiii see wetin Paul cause ohhh
umar is also getting attention here because of his goals in laliga second division but the league is not really competitive I will agree with komekn on the fact that championship is even more competitive than laliga second division....I don't think he deserves the whole attention is getting from the media he still has a long way to go apart from league let's take a look at it from the tactical aspect he is more of target player like Paul though more technically bless than Paul but for you to be able to exploit a target player very well you must have a strong pressing midfield that press high the field cos target players don't press also In a 4-3-3 formation you move the winger deep into the midfield role serving more of a playermaker with the main purpose of the creating chance for the big man up front and also help with the pressing ....but do you think selfish player like kalu can do that for the team...tactically he is not fit for the team but let's see how things goes.

Zaha cautions Ebere about the dangers of opting to play for England ahead of Nigeria
Nigerian Watch Feb 12, 2021 12:00 PM

IVORIAN winger Wilfried Zaha has warned his Crystal Palace team mate Ebere Eze that he will be making a grave mistake opting for England ahead of Nigeria at international level as the Three Lions will not guarantee him any longevity.

Ebere, 22, has been the subject of a tug of war between Nigeria and England, with both nations desperately fighting for the services of the mercurial playmaker. Having already played for the England U21 team competitively, Ebere will need to undergo a switch through Fifa before he is eligible to feature for Nigeria’s Super Eagles.

It appears that Ebere may be holding out for a senior England call-up and if manager Gareth Southgate caps him, that would end the matter. Already, the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick has met with Ebere in London and Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has asked the player to apply for Fifa clearance before he can invite him to camp.

With Eze, the mercurial playmaker still undecided, Zaha has warned him that opting for England would be a grave mistake as he would be used once or twice and dumped. Recalling his own experience, Zaha, said he was used in two friendly matches against Sweden in 2012 and Scotland in 2013 and that was the end of his international career with England.

After not hearing from England for over three years, Zaha subsequently applied for a Fifa switch and after it was granted, featured for Ivory Coast in the 2017 African Cup of Nations. Since then, Zaha has gone on to win 18 caps for Ivory Coast, scoring five goals in the process, making him one of the mainstays of the Elephants’ attack.

Zaha said: “It was like I was rejected from the England side as I did not get picked or even get a look-in for your years. Four years is a long time, so it is not like there is no regret at all.

“No one even thought about me at all. With Ivory Coast, even though I told them no, they still had the belief in me and still wanted me because they knew what I could do for the team, so as for me not playing for England, I have no regrets at all and I’m happy with the decision I made.”

Eze and Zaha are arguably Crystal Palace’s best two players, helping the team to 13th in the English Premier league table. Between them, the two forwards have scored 12 of Palace’s 27 goals so far this season.

Not at all. I'd rather call it "Perspective"

We have logged a high ratio of faring poorly against lowly teams. What makes you think Al Ahly (comprising mainly of home based Egyptian players) would be different? We have hit many unprecedented lows under Rohr. E.g. losing to SA at home for the first time, losing to Madagascar, Seychelles! (are you kidding me?) pulling a goal on us. Lesotho, two goals. S. Leone staying unbeatable in two legs.

That's a huge factor to put into consideration when trying to predict our outcome against Ah Ahly. Based on antecedents it's not a given that we can beat them.
Still sound like a broken record. Same Rohr beat the Egyptian NT.

It is not wise to stand at one end of the see-saw

Nmecha wants Germany so bad and it's glaring, y'all come up with a new name like you made some bad ass research. Nmecha is not for the eagles man, we still have dessers that probably posseses that style of play

This is very correct. I am particularly worried that of Samuel Kalu and Ejuke, unnecessary and unproductive dribbling, Simon was guilty of this before but last season he got more goals involvement.

Anyone reading what you wrote up there would think that lookman has scored 20goals this season. Dude has scored just 3 goals this season in the Epl. Even the mukairu in the lowly Belgium league has scored just 3 goals. Chukwueze scored in our last Afcon qualifiers outing. Samuel kalu scored a great goal against Benin republic. Samuel kalu is also on 3 goals in few appearances this season in the French league .So how are those you mentioned up there a better goal scoring wingers than what we have? They are just additions nothing more. They can't easily displace what we have on ground.

France had better strikers with better stats than Giroud yet Giroud got the spot. Giroud didn't have a single shot on target during the World Cup but he still played almost all their matches. I understand our wingers need to start scoring goals but replacing them just like that might not work out the way we want.
National team is different from club.
A player may score 20 goals for his club but struggles to score 1 goals for his national team.

stats can be deceptive. if you watch games, you'll see that lookman is better than them in terms of eye for goal. lookman knows how to drop through passes and take shots very quickly. chukwueze relies too much on beating defenders with his skillful play.

How many times will I tell you guys to stop comparing farmers league stats to the big 3 stats? Farmers league stats just signifies that this individual can be a "Future Talent" when you perform at the Big 3, you're Ready for Nigeria. Based on the Quality of leagues this season, our best winger

1) Lookman - 3 goals 3 assists at the big 3
2) chuks 2 goals 5 assist at the big 3

Surprising Nwakaeme has been our best winger at Farmers league this season (6 goals 4 assists) I.e France, Turkey, belgium, Russia etc. He needs to prove himself at the Big 3 sha to compete. My Favorite winger in Farmers league is Chidera Ejuke very sad that he is out of form at this time

both lookman and chukwueze can be dangerous, but lookman's playmaking is more precise a bit like rashford.

Thanks JohnbullMySon. That's what's some guys have not caught on to. You have the major stats (goals/assists), and then you have what they call underlying stats as well (chances created, shots on goal, key passes, turnovers etc) you get the drift. Now those underlying stats are the real differentiators when the major stats are similar.
