Anyway, in life we win some, we lose some. It's not a total loss sha. At least, on hot nights, it powers my fan and saves me cost of buying fuel.

By jumbo, he meant that, with an extra 20k (bringing you total money to 140k), you could have easily gotten an original 200ah Fullriver batter which sold for 125k a few months ago. The remaining 15k could have easily get you a 1000w inverter with inbuilt charger.

This system would power your fan and laptop for at least 10 hours. I speak out of direct experience.

70k can get you at least 2 units of 270 - 300w panel. You will be grossly shortchanged if you get just 2 units of 150w.

But it is a good idea to get the panels. At least, you will always have juice in your battery during the day to do your usual work, then at night you will use the battery.

Also, getting the panels would mean you have solved the solar section of your inverter system. You wont have to but it again. So you will just focus on getting good batteries now

But I am finding it very hard to believe it lasted for 15hours ooo. Unless your customer uses a mini-laptop with power rating of 20 - 30watts.

he uses lenovo ideapad S210, I don't think it's a mini laptop .. he just played music overnight though, which will only consume low power, and his battery is bad . So It depends on what's being done on the laptop (software being used).
Although the objective is to run the pc for 10hrs on average.

It's actually 11ah , so 11ah x 14.8V= 162.8Wh
11watts for 15hrs
16.2watts for 10hrs
20wats for 8.1hrs
On average load it should do 10hrs
The max power consumption of the laptop is 27.6watts (stressed)

The main intention is just to power the laptop without charging the battery.
