Please do you know how many weeks it takes to get an offer letter from MUN.

I recently applied

For UG or PGS?
For post graduate studies, it will take 8-12 weeks from deadline of application.
So that's about 2 to 3 months, however, applications submitted early should receive letter in no time.
Send me a DM.

Hi,
Were you asked for English Proficiency Test Results?
Did you send in any? Or were you given an English test waiver

I sent sgs a mail that the taught language for my degree was the English Language which is also my official language. Plus, there's a compulsory course for use of English as a course in my transcript, hence, the language proficiency test is not applicable for me.

Undergraduate Computer Science.

I think that's Grenfell campus and St. John's Campus.

Related courses for Marine Institute will be schooled here.
Also located in St. John's city is the Marine Institute, Canada's leading centre of fisheries and marine training and one of the largest marine educational facilities in the world.

If it's VFS Lagos you submitted your Passport to for Stamping you have to reach out to them by Call to get updates about your Passport return (Get ready to disturb them cos their no. is always busy, 9am on the dot is the best time to call).

The content in the link below will guide you on how to get across to VFS Lagos as regards your Passport return via Call

https://www.nairaland.com/5818588/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/692#97051549

Once you have been able to get across to them, and they av confirmed your Passport has gotten back to their office from the Canadian Embassy in Lagos, they would send you a mail that you should pay #11,310 to a Sterling Bank Account and also send you a Courier SMS request form, so after paying the money, you will print the courier SMS form, fill it with your pen, also write your TRACKING NUMBER boldly on top of the form then Scan/Snap it and send it back to VFS Lagos (Canada) via Mail, together with the Proof of Payment of the #11,310.

If your payment has bin confirmed by VFS Lagos (Canada), they would send you a feedback mail saying

Please be informed that your passport has been dispatched to your provided address on the 11/12/1984 via UPS Courier Awb No. Wxxxxxxxx.

Please kindly be informed that courier delivery takes an average of 2-3 working days.

ADDRESS : the address on the Courier SMS Form you sent to them

It's that UPS tracking no. you will use to track the movement of your Parcel (passport) to your destination on UPS website. There is an indicator you will see on their website when you input your AWB tracking number, this will show you how soon your parcel would get to your destination

Try to get the the phone number of the UPS dispatch rider in possession of your Passport from the VFS Staff, so you can be monitoring him and give him directions to the address

Thanks. Please do you have a copy of the courier SMS form?

PGWP doesn't require 2years course. If you are going for a year course you get 1year PGWP etc so the higher the length of your course ,the higher the length of PGWP that's how it works!!!

Send it Tomorrow

If you had done Upfront Medicals before deciding to send this Webforms & Mails, it will show you have a complete application, but I don't know the kind of response you will get from IRCC since you haven't done medicals, probably if they check your application and they see all is ok, they should send you a Medical Request (This is an Assumption)

[quote author=Lekiboboe post=99060598]

Your input will go a long way to help me.

My case as it is....... I applied to Memorial University Newfoundland, Canada, for fall 2021. I submitted my application on the 25th of January, 2021.

I got a response from School of graduate studies (sgs) for the receipt of my application, stating formal decision is reached I will be contacted in the next couple of weeks (8-12), I pray it be soon.

Funding my application, I had asked a distant family tie (an uncle) who is a business owner to serve as my sponsor. He is willing to provide his company account statements and other required documents needed to be provided by financial sponsor.

Reading through threads about sponsors being family friends and relatives and all the advises about what one should, got me thinking, If i could use my brother who can cosponsor me alongside my distant uncle.

For my uncle, I do not bear same last name nor have any picture shared with him, for my brother, there are lots of evidences to show.

Using my brother solely as sponsor, will affect my application as SOA early this year show little strain for business, compared to last year.

I can pay a year 3 semesters tuition fee, and still show about $3,500 Cad in my SOA, and have $3,500 in my pension fund if it can also serve as my POF.

Please advice if my personal SOA and pension can serve as proof of funds?
Also if I can use the above (uncle and brother) as sponsors?

@Lekiboboe @justmellow and other elders.
