Any age above 33 is termed a matured applicant. Given that you're 41 this year, the feasible way to prove that you're well established in Nigeria and that your proposed course of study in Canada is at a reasonable expense. You're in a more advantageous position of being Self-sponsored. Having someone else to finance your studies abroad will give the visa officer the audacity to question your financial establishment thus leading to visa rejection.

Having critically examined your profile, I would suggest you apply alone, whilst your spouse and kids be your home ties in your application.

A Master's degree is the way forward to demonstrate career progression. This program should be in correlation with your current job role considering the 16 years working experience.

I hope this information satisfies your inquiry.

Save yourself the time, resources and effort by applying to University of Regina for her Undergraduate degree. MUN will delay you and still decline your application.

It will end in praise

Ahhhh. Why would they decline the application. The deadline is March 1 and we submitted a week ago.

I thought MUN had a high acceptance rate.

Pls explain. Thank you.

P.S: We are also in the process of applying to Uni of Regina and Manitoba and Uni of Prince Edward Island but they are slow especially Manitoba and Regina in replying.

MUN will request every documents be verified and sent by the issuing body.

The WAEC confirmation of result has to be couriered by the WAEC office at Yaba. Whilst, the IELTS will be sent by IELTS coordinator (office) from Nigeria to Canada. You need a minimum of 6.0 band to qualify for admission at MUN for an undergraduate degree. In all of this processes, you will pay for the processing fees for this organizations to send your documents to Canada as well as the courier fees will be incurred by you.

Hope you can see the stress and money that will be spent for common undergraduate admission at MUN which is also not certain that you will be admitted in the end.

It will end in praise

Thank you. My bro doesn’t have IELTS but hé has ToEFL.
I don’t even mind sending all those documents as long as we get the admission because MUN and UPEI are the only schools in my budget.

I sent sgs a mail that the taught language for my degree was the English Language which is also my official language. Plus, there's a compulsory course for use of English as a course in my transcript, hence, the language proficiency test is not applicable for me.

Thanks. I sent them an email regarding t he English Test Waiver too Even though my bro has TOEFL which he passed excellently. We just don’t want to spend more money to send in the result.
I hope they don’t ask for it.

But UPEI doesn't require IELTS, that's the school I applied to

1.Hello dear did you include ielts result during the visa application.
2.Did you by any means submit any test result regarding Covid test result?

Really don't know will appreciate if you can PM or post list of documents you submitted .

I am a bit worried also applying for May 2021 studies yet to apply my ielts result will be available by March 2021, really don't know to apply by mid March whether it will be late for May 2021 studies just don't want the fall/September

Judging from people's timeline so far, applying for May admission in March is extremely late as the current processing time is 13 weeks.

Greetings and Happy Val to everyone.

Admission just dropped for PGC in Brewing Science, Bishop's University Quebec.
For those headed to or already in Quebec, how did you go about processing CAQ. Also do I have to get CAQ before applying for Visa, or I should go ahead and apply for visa while waiting for CAQ to drop.

CAQ is an important document to be uploaded during study permit application and without it the study permit wont be complete and accepted.... Thats my own view ooo wait for gurus in the house. Which school are you headed in quebec?

Hello 7COLOURS.

Congratulations on your offer letter , have you been able to make the mandatory tuition deposit .. If so , did you use Flywire or western bank ?.

Also , now should be the appropriate time for you to apply if you are going through the normal route that takes 15weeks.

Oreoluwamipo hi,
I'm yet to pay tuition deposit but I intend to use flywire next month.

My school resumption date is May 2022, not this year.

Thank you.

JustMellow:

Hello JosephYemsol,

There is no actual value of how lump sum is classified. It boils down to how the account has been previously run/operated and the range(s) of inflows that has previously been entering into the account.

Let's see these examples:

If Mr. A is a salary earner with constant inflows of NGN 5.00 within the last six (6) months to one (1) year, then suddenly, NGN 10.00 or NGN 15.00 entered the account, that's considered as a lump sum.

If Mrs. AB is a businesswoman with constant inflows of NGN 5.00 to NGN 20.00 within the last six (6) months to one year, then suddenly NGN 15.00 entered the account, that's not considered to be a lump sum. Though its still advise to briefly point out the origin of the funds, if applicable.

I hope its clear enough?!

Cc: Femredhead

Best of Luck

Thank you so much!!! Understood clearly... Thank you sir.
