Private security firms should be able to bear arms as long as they are registered!!

I keep seeing children speaking for adults, who say "We are not ready for gun ownership", speak for yourself only. Responsible citizens with training on how to use arms and have no mental health challenges should be granted the ability to bear arms up to and including semi-automatic weapons!!

Any private security outfit with experienced trained personnel will become very sort after, if allowed! I for one will pay for 4 armed personnel anytime I am forced, repeat forced to visit Nigeria.

Guy, you'd be sent back to your state of ogun where you belong in 2023. What you're still doing in lagos is still baffling, taking away our commonwealth, no thanks to tinubu, your inlaw.

I learnt you rushed to ogun to seek their guber ticket and after you lost out at the primaries, you rushed back to lagos to secure your senate seat...no worries. Many of you would be retired perpetually from lagos politics come 2023, including your mentor jagaband. Not even your thugs and embezzled money would save you.

Honestly speaking, I can't even understand how a person residing in a village goes out daily without being strapped, at least with a lethal dagger, jackknife and pepper spray.

Anyone still waiting on this failed leadership to protect them is not serious, or has a death wish!!!...

Nigerians, you are your own security! Find a way!!!... I don talk my own finish!!!

Idiot you are still alive that is why you are still able to grant interview. What cause you to buy weapons for your people without making noise.

Fulani using Ak47 didn't take permission from anyone although their dad in aso rock might have given them go ahead that not will happen.
Re: Senator Adeola Threatens To Embrace Self-Defence Over Insecurity by kayjay69(m): 11:58am On Feb 15, 2021
Don't mind the "One Nigeria Idiots" who have claimed that Nigerians cannot and should not be allowed to own guns. But fulani herdsmen walk around in the open with weapons.

Buhari's government in 2015 ordered the IGP to withdraw all licences from gun owners and stop issuing new licences. They knew where they were going with all of this, we are now see things unfold.

Useless senator, useless government and even worse off, a terrible evil party.

Every people have a right to defend themselves. Let the people of Yewa all contribute 3000 and buy thousands of AK47s and go into the forests with drones and communication gadgets. Them no born that uncircumcised nomad to come and have mind to kill us again.

The truth is that the Nigeria state don't have enough police ... Let me rephrase it.. they don't ve well trained and adequately equipped policing force.

So what is the best bet?

No, not self defense.. we are still toddlers. It is like giving guns to 10 years old kids that have just finished watching the movie, Rambo... The best bet is a regional police structure. This will work because you have no one to blame again if this is put in place. The blame game will stop, and the federal government will be relieved to face orther pressing issues
Policing is not always about numbers or arms in the general sense. It’s commitment, leadership and capabilities.

A group of 200 heavily armed/trained soldiers with a single attach helicopter in each of the troubled states can create significant impact beyond their numbers. Our troops are generally reactive (poorly too) with zero intelligence ecosystems

Target and destroy, proactively, few camps you can locate. Visit them with maximum violence , scorched earth manner. This sends a message of consequences. We will come after you. We will kill you (not arrest you). This is lacking in today’s Nigeria and I think it’s deliberately so by the Buhari administration

We need Buhari out and a younger, more capable leader if Nigeria is to be survive

I see chaos everywhere in this country in the nearest future.
The future is now. It would only get worse in coming says because the situation remains unabated. Have you wondered why buhari online warriors and BMCs have suddenly kept mum? Do you think they don't read comments here anymore? Its because its now dawning on them that what we've been saying about this inept government is real. Some of their relatives are also victims of insecurity in Nigeria. You can imagine apc leaders now coming out to attack their own party leadership? This hardly happens. It shows nobody is ready to pretend anymore. Afterall, it's Nigeria first and not the party.

it will take years to repair the ethnic distrust, political inequality and maladministration of this government under Buhari, that's if there is no dissolution of this fake enclave by then
Re: Senator Adeola Threatens To Embrace Self-Defence Over Insecurity by saajus: 12:42pm On Feb 15, 2021
Self-defence is not taught, it is a natural instinct. Nobody needs to recommend self-defence, it will naturally evolve and the whole country will be on fire. For now, people just have to try and survive till 2023. Buhari won't change anything. He has chosen side and it's obvious.

"The RUGA agenda on paper is telling us in beautiful lines that:

1. Government will GAZETTE LANDS from the 36 STATES of Nigeria.

2. These lands will be dedicated to RANCHING to accommodate Pastoralists and their Cows so they can stop wandering all over the places where they have been at constant friction with Farmers.

3. The Government will provide everything the Cattle farmers need so they won't have cause to ever wonder outside of the Grazing area.

4. In all likelihood, by any reasonable balance of probability, the majority [ if not 100% ] of the occupants of that RUGA will be FULANIS. And we must remember that this RUGA are extremely large expanse of land as big as an average LGA. The Fulanis will therefore be kept out of mischief and th criminal elements amongst them easily identifiable.

That is the way it is painted but Nigerians are much wiser because we have spent the last 60 years studying our leaders especially their propensity for insincerity and abandonment of projects!

The first thing that is a CERTAINTY is that the Government, somehow or any how, will derail from the original intensions of the project, assuming the intensions were even honest in the first place.

There are plenty basis for this cynism.

1. Somewhere between Ore and Benin, the Federal Government sited a "LEPERS COLONY" in an area off the Ore-Benin expressway where LEPERS were kept and being taken care of.

The idea was to reduce the risk of spreading the dreaded LEPROSY disease so they camped all patients/victims in that place.

I am not sure the Government sustained that project for up to 5 years. It became a common scene on that expressway to see the LEPERS trooping out in large numbers to line the dangerous expressroads as BEGGARS.

2. Somewhere in the town of ORU, near Ijebu-Ode, the same busy-body Federal Government sited what it called "REFUGEE CAMP" to assist the rescued citizens of Liberia during the civil wars in that country.

The Nigerian Government in less than a year abandoned them after a short while, obviously some people have just used the plan to sweep money from the budget.

Those guys quickly poured onto the streets, some had to take to crime, many became beggars and their women went into prostitution.

It was terrible for the Ijebu People of ORU.

Now, tell me, a Federal Government with this antecedents will now embark on a project of creating RUGA where Pastoralists will be encouraged and assisted to live in and NEVER TO LEAVE.

What will happen is very easy to predict:

1. The Fulanis would have been ASSIGNED LAND BY LAW, FREE OF CHARGE all over the 36 States of the country.

2..They will IMMEDIATELY POUR all the population of FULANIS they can find from all over the world into those lands.

3. They will quickly install Serikis all over the 36 RUGA who will gradually build an Emirate.

4. The 36 RUGAs will have Military Garrisons for FULANI geurilla fighters.

5. The Government will make a show of the efficiency at the RUGA for one or two years and abandon them.

6. Gradually, the Government will certainly STOP supplying FREE FEEDS and WATER for their cows in the RUGA.

7. As the Pastoralists DONT DESIRE or have any plans to spend a kobo on the animals in the course of their business, the HERDSMEN WILL TAKE TO THE STREETS AGAIN!!!!

8. What it will then mean is that the HERDSMEN will HOLD THEIR LAWFUL RUGA and at same time will resume the HARASSMENT OF FARMERS ON THEB OUTSIDE OF THE RUGA and this time, they are fully fortified with more than adequate capacity for TERRORISM. They will knock every of their Neighbours to submission.

In due course, they will remember Uthman Dan Fodio's delayed agenda and there can't be a better time to resume than at a time when they have enough men, resources of 36 strong bases and a Federal Security infrastructure that is most certianly under their control.

In all of their planning, the planners and their conspirators will assume that every other Nigerians are dumb and stupid."

Continue to wait until you are killed by Fulani Herdsmen. The President is the one stoking insecurity in Nigeria by unleashing Fulani herdsmen to kill farmers in order to claim land for cattle.
If you wait for him and his Fulani security agencies, you are dead.
Re: Senator Adeola Threatens To Embrace Self-Defence Over Insecurity by Nobody:
First Bleep biafra and Bleep oduduwa.

My friends, a fulani operated genocide is upon you. Nigeria is now a land for the fulani to conquer, non-nigerian fulani have more rights (including right to carry ak47) than actual indigenous nigerians in nigeria.
When fulani kill or rape in the south, if they are arrested, they would be freed and COMPENSATED !

Fulani herdsmen are the world's second most deadly terrorist group after boko haram (deadlier than isis)
If you guys don't defend yourselves then you will be wiped out, that is the only logical conlusion to this.
Re: Senator Adeola Threatens To Embrace Self-Defence Over Insecurity by Nobody: 1:24pm On Feb 15, 2021
Nigeria is at war.
Nigeria is facing the same thing as what sudan faced.
Fulani from all over west africa are being allowed free passage into nigeria in order to take over the land from the indigenous people through genocide. Any fulani from any country in this world is also considered to be a nigerian by the nigerian government.

That is what is going on.

Buhari is 100% behind this and this explains why he made sure the entire executive branch of government was filled with fulani sunni muslims.
