Goodluck Jonathan Denies His Reported Defection To APC by valentineuwakwe(m): 12:41am On Feb 16, 2021
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has refuted reports of his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Jonathan said he is still a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Speaking at the supreme court victory/ thanksgiving service of the Bayelsa State governor, the former president described PDP “as a friend that carries people along.”

According to Jonathan: “PDP has been a very friendly party, I am a member of PDP and I know from the beginning till today, it has been a very friendly party, PDP is a party that carries everybody along and we should extend that to Bayelsa State.

Jonathan has been linked with a possible move to the APC after he played host to some chieftains of the ruling party.

The former president was linked with the APC 2023 presidential ticket.

However, the interim Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC, Mai Mala Buni had denied such claims.

No sane person believe that story

There will be no oil boom again to impress Nigerians by opening the national treasure for your cohorts to devour and call it economic growth.....

Just hide your face and dont remind us of yesterday.

The impact of good leadership is felt more after the tenure of the leader and that is called legacy, but I cant remember any from you apart from accepting glaring defeat that have saved you open probe and sanctions as a result of your betrayal of the trust given to you by the Nugerian masses as one who truly once had no shoes and expect to be in reality with the suffering of the poor masses.

If you have fixed Nigeria, we shouldn't be suffering today as a result of crash of crude oil prices in the international market.

For instance, the dividend of democracy and legacy of infrastructure assets left behind by Sullivan the former Governor of Enugu is what is covering up for the poor performance of the current Governor........same will apply to the successor of Ebonyi Governor

"America has good roads not because America is rich but America is rich because America has good roads "

What legacy did you leave behind that can make Nigeria rich,?

The Northern politicians are very smart grin

If they run Jonathan/Hell Rufai under the guise of giving power to the South... they know Jonathan cannot contest more than once constitutionally. Therefore, if Jonathan wins in 2023, he can't go beyond 2027, and so it automatically falls on Hell Rufai. Power returns to the north for another 8 years.

Smart Northerners !

It isn't happening.

Too many people in APC who are interested in the Aso Rock seat.

GEJ defecting means that all the people interested will defect to PDP and support PDP to win in 2023...out of anger at being cheated out.

The way our neighbors across the Niger will berate this man if he decides to join the APC will be worse than his SS people.
Unfortunately, his defection is imminent and there’s nothing they can do about it.

Nigeria is a very complex society; the politicians, youths, etc. I was a Buhari supporter in 2015, with the hope of fighting corruption, however Buhari has destroyed this nation far more than he met it. Even though he tried in some areas like infrastructure, agriculture, etc he has destroyed the spirit of United Nigeria among many southerners, it's very unfortunate.

Jonathan should stay away from ruling a divided nation at this time, he doesn't have the capacity of ruling Nigeria, he's too weak. He allowed people under him to be powerful, not even a warning. People like Stella Odua, Allyson Maduekwe, etc were doing as they wish. Even Turai, Lukman were more powerful than him when it was obvious Yaradua wasn't coming back

Has this man come so low that rumors like this are swirling around him?. In any event he lacks leadership qualities so much that he couldn't call MAMA PISS to order.
