Does Buhari have a strategy or does he just react to events.

Selling the refineries was on the card in 2015 yet he wasted billions maintaining the unworkable refineries only to decide to sell when there are limited funds to steal.

The SEZ should be handed over to the states and let the state engage private investors to develop the SEZ.

Sell all our properties just to fund a year's budget.

What about other years?

What's wrong with this Finance Minister?

It seems you do not know the problem of Nigeria order than Tinubu
If all Nigerians are like Tinubu, we would be in a state of eldorado.
I am not his advocate, but I think he is far better than those you failed to mention

Redoil:
sell it to who

let me guess

1. Tinubu

2. Alpha Beta Consulting

3. Oando

4. Bola Hammed

5. Bola Tinubu

6. Tinubu Hammed.

sentiment aside
whether the person stole or not any body who is willing and ready to purchase the refinery and make it work should be giving the opportunity to do so that the benefit will get down to the people in the long run.

methink it is time to force them to re invest their wealth in nigeria

GEJ was useless.

GEJ Finance minister and the petroleum minister, advise him to remove oil subsidies in 2012, there was even a week-long debate on the subsidies removal, but the hopeless "president with no shoes" decided to go against his own senior minister wasting $8 billion a year on fraudulent oil subsidies.

Now you think the clueless GEJ would have sold the oil refineries to the appropriate investors, just look at the mess that he made of privatizing the Power industry. The power sector is worst after privatization than under NEPA.

Before you start your APC vs PDP (GEJ vs Buhari) accusation, Buhari is even worse than GEJ, but that doesn't make GEJ a good leader, it just reflects on Nigerians failure to select good leaders.

White elephant projects.
Bro. All these “businesses” are politically funded. These people have zero business acumen.
That is why they can NEVER have any of their “businesses” abroad where they have no political control.
They will buy houses there but will NEVER run any active business there. Ever.
It’s still the same people that have been controlling things for 60 years that will still buy the refinery so how? What kind of magic will they perform to suddenly know what they don’t know?
Thugs in Agbada.

If they sell or concession to fund the 2021 budget, what will happen to the 2022 budget when there is nothing to sell or concession? They will still tell us stories about funds generation.

These people no get ideas before so tay reach now. Dem no go get again. They have taken loans all over the world and now they will take people’s deposits in dormant accounts. I never hear that kind thing before for many years I dey Nigeria reach today.

The Nigerian government is totally confused. What will poor and average Nigerians be benefitting from the government at low cost, after these assets are sold to private individuals?

What is anyone benefitting now?? Other than those in government stealing from it
