Addiction is doing something you don't want to do, and you can't stop doing it.

Out of a 100 persons, about 10 are usually addicted, meaning not everyone is addicted to something.

You can be addicted to drugs, sex, gambling, alcohol and anything even sugar.

You can't just quit addiction overnight, it's like a cell that grows in a part of your brain.

Even if you go do all the churches in the world, you still will not get cured immediately. it's not the devil's handwork, Lol

Addicted people are usually depressed and full of anxiety.

Many people has tried stopping their addiction but ended but going back.

It takes time and discipline to stop an addiction.
And also be prayerful.

Cheers.

Hustle2flex:
The major problem with gambling is it's effect on the mental health.it tends to reprogram the brain and the reward system. The person only thinks of place a bet and odds most of the time such that other important areas of their life like physical health, family and personal relationships, work and social life suffers.
Then you look at the financial situation too.initially,it's all fun but with time it's no longer that.Everyone that started initially didn't bet big but you tend to see changes that makes them hooked and become addicted because of chasing losses and trying to win big. This is followed by mood changes with anxiety, depression, irritability and venting anger and frustration towards people close to them. You don't even talk about the subsequent penury, poverty and perpetual indebtedness that accompanies this gambling behavior.

Not everyone has the mental fortitude to control themselves.some has tried everything to stop but can't seem to.
You may win initially but if you keep the record,u will see that ur losses is more likely to be greater than your gain.
Know that there is no advantage in gambling and that we have been conned to believe it is otherwise.
But whatever you do ain life,be ready to take the responsibility.
Thanks
