Just like that, you sat down and came up several layers of conjecture without a single fact to support them, just to justify putting a negative spin to the development.

As a marketer, your job is to meet targets; risk, deposit, e-banking...etc. Irrespective of your gender, you have to meet this target. For core staff, there are so many indices that makes up your KPI, of which deposit is just one. Yes the targets could be reduced or benchmarked, but if you choose to leave all the rest and focus on deposits, to the extent you have to fck around, then you have yourself to blame.

If these ladies didn’t have vaginas, they will look for other means to meet their targets- be it professional, educational or financial. So, assume you don’t have a vagina and do things differently for once.

What I think should be outrightly banned is contract staffing. The work doesn’t match the pay at all.

But the practice of asking marketers to go look for customers with huge funds to deposit is outdated and cannot make a bank to be profitable in the long run. How many people in Nigeria even have millions to continously deposit?

I remember my elder sis for ecobank almost ten years ago. them 1st give am 50m target. after few years dem increase am to close to 200m I don forget whether na monthly abi yearly. dem go dey official car dey go alhaji, chief, rich cattle rearer go look for customer. she still dey deliver but jealously no let dem comot eye for her body. some of her colleagues dey go behind her back go meet her customer dey ask dey why dem dey give non indigene account. this happened in akwaibom laslas dem still sack am
