Say I am a day trader, and I lost $20 dollars in one of my moves, I can sell that coin for USDT and target another coin where I am sure I can recover about the $20 dollars I lost and even more, and yes I have done similar several times and I am still in profit, increased profit. Trading is not all about holding bro, the goal is to make money not coin loyalty. You can hold while a short-term trader will make more than you by buying at dips and reselling when high for the same coin while you wait for x2 or x3 which is not guaranteed. I can do research and know and find a coin that will do x2 and move profit and still come back to my initial coin. Just know what works for you, I can trade and hold at the same time. Recovery might not happen in a day, it can take days but you will profit if you know what you are doing
