Hello house. I know someone whose birthday is fast approaching and who's in the pool with 477. This person already has an MSc. Can they take the BCS or ACCA exams onto of the MSc to hedge against the points drop atter their birthday? Not sure if it applies and don't want to give wrong advise.

The only things that can help are TEF or a PhD. OR a provincial nomination, among others. MSc is higher than ACCA.

Someone is telling me no because of the pandemic. But from what I am seeing here, it seems they are open.

Please I would be glad to get a response

Masters give the highest point compared to two degrees/cert. Way to go is French or PNP

You know your budget so search for schools that offer an online masters Programme. Besides, every course has a different tuition fee and you alone know what you want your major to be in

Even if this were possible, declaring one degree rather than two...doesn't that reduce your CRS by 32 points (112 vs 119 for Education and 25 vs 50 for Skill Transferability/Education)? Thereby leaving you with 441 which is below the OINP CRS range.

Have you had a look at SINP while you wait for FSW draws to begin again?

Another idea is if you actually have CAD1,500 that you were willing to give OINP, then why not use a tiny portion of that to begin French classes while you anticipate FSW instead of just waiting....you can achieve a lot in 6 months (with blood, sweat & determination) and possibly get yourself into the 480s (with 12 points if you get CLB 9 in Listening and Reading.....according to recent TEF takers, there are lots of past questions that you can revise and focus on for these 2 areas only). It is also possible to get CLB 7 across and the 50 mega points will be yours (CRS 540+ leaving everyone else in the dust!)

Also is birthday lurking around the corner......473 becomes 468/467.....if above 30.

Just a thought!!!

@Mmamaroon I am a bit confused here please. Does this mean that a 473 is not a good enough score to just wait till the next draw? What hope does those in the 450s have bayi? I understand that till ITA comes, it's great to look for possible ways to improve CRS as there seems to be a lot of uncertainty in the process...

Just wanted to clarify
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by teesquad007: 8:23pm On Feb 21, 2021
The person should go and relax and worry less joor, even if birthday is fast approaching, it will be 472. The point will still get him ITA. Abeg go zip ur zobo and relax joor.

Normally 473 would be a good score but the OP was looking to see if he could get in through OINP (who only invite people with CRS in a given range)...his problem was that his CRS was too high for OINP and he can't say when the next FSW draw will be or what the CRS will be then.

Regarding future FSW draws, if I was in the 450 range, I would be looking for something that would put me in a region where I won't be competing with anyone (learning French) or I would explore PNP e.g. SINP or any other (New Brunswick Nigeria event has been posted here twice already).

There have been no ITA for Outland profile owners this year (2021) thus I’m guessing that thousands of profiles that should have received an invitation are waiting in the pool which will keep the scores high (above 470) until frequent draws are conducted

Does CRS point change to take into account an increase in the number of years of work experience? I have just been told that I only need to place the year I started working on my EE profile. Will this update my crs score from 440 to 465 automatically when it clocks 3 years?
Do you people think this thing will drop? I am trying to save money. Should I write IELTS now even if it will give me 440?

Thank you but I already indicated while registering for WES that payment will be made through Western Union online. Hope it will not count or affect my application if I follow your information to make payment.

Good day everyone, I have a question.

I am Post-ITA/AOR, (I've submitted my POF documents and everything was in naira).

Now my question is, Is it safe to convert the entire sum into US dollars and leave in my domiciliary account? I want to do this because I'm a bit skeptical about the strength of the naira, especially in the coming months. I don't want to risk the naira getting devalued and my POF going below the benchmark in Canadian dollars.

Will making this conversion have any effect on my application?

When it is time to submit you can print a month or week leading up to the inflow or just print 6months

The system will automatically increase your score when your work experience is 3years. Your work experience must be in NOC 0,A & B and within the last 10years

Good morning everyone,

Please, I am trying to update my WAEC result, may I know if it is okay to leave my secondary School name as institution attended with 6 years full study, OR I would need to fill Private Candidate WAEC and choose part time.

Recent result is for Nov/Dec 2020, I finished secondary School 1999.

I would appreciate your feedback on how to go about it. thank you

Hello,
I need advice on how to go about work experience for canada express entry.

I worked as an administrative assistant for one year and five months during my internship between my ND and HND. Then 8months in the same job role but different firm during my NYSC.
Can I merge this as 2years?

Post NYSC, I worked for 8months then the contract was called off for one month. Resumed to same position as an audit intern for 5 months. Can I merge it as 1year experience?
