if gattuso is finished that might be bad for osimehn since osimehn is a gattuso signing and he has to justify that 75 mil . A new coach might relegate him to the bench. (People never learn for here)

Because u are the one going to be benching him If they hire another coach he will be selected with Victor in mind. U don't buy a player for that much and not ask a coach u are hiring how he intends to use him.

Osimhen needs to understand Italian football as soon as possible, the teams close on defense and he doesn't always have space to run. I hope he comes back good.

But pep doesn’t want iheanacho then nah

I am one of the few people who thinks nacho would have done well under pep than Gabriel Jesus

Iheanacho left cause he wanted first team football, he should have been patient. Pep then said Iheanacho is part of the group whether his transfer goes thru or not. Thats one of the reasons a buy back clause was inserted in his contract with Leicester.

That is Napoli football not Italian. Inter Milan use Lukaku's pace all the time as Juve does Ronaldo's

Noble, the hero. I think Enyimba deserves their place in the group stages. Congrats Dad. Meanwhile, My heart is with Osimhen at this point. The lad just can't seem to get a break from injury episodes. But I trust he's in good hands and will come out of this new episode stronger.

Part of what I was pointing out. I am especially annoyed at Gattuso because he keeps picking a 70-75% fit Osimhen yet he refuses to specially instruct his players to play to Osimhen's strengths.
He just stands there on the technical touchline watching while the lad kills himself up front with little or no service and when the service do come (like once I'm a blue moon fashion), it's always overhit. Now the boy fainted on the pitch from head trauma. A lad the coach admits plays with a cast/strapping around his previously dislocated shoulder.
The Napoli wingers are bunch of selfish dollopheads. Something just has to give way. Either Gattuso fixes things or he leaves and a better coach arrives who can properly make use of Osimhen and make the supporting cast play to his strengths. Like they did at Charleroi and at Lille.

You don't get an 81 million Euros striker into your squad as a coach and expect him to serve you assists and use his pace to open up channels for you just because he can... Omo! You gotta constantly serve him despite all he is willing to give you up top across the final third.
Like what Haaland is enjoying enormously at Dortmund. Sancho that hit double figures in goals and assists in the league alone for the past two seasons is not close to such again on the goals count because now he plays alongside other Wingers to the strength of Haaland. Unlike at Napoli where the Wingers are on double figures (Check Lozano's and Insigne's goals count. Even Politano) while their striker is starving due to poor service.

He doesn't always have space to run indeed yet he has clocked the fastest times in Serie A this season TWICE already.
He was literally dropping top showings from game to game before his injury yet he needs to understand Italian football. You got it wrong.

It is his Napoli teammates that need to understand him. This is a lad that was doing very well already despite ideally needing time to settle into a tougher and newer league.

Spot on. It is the standard after making such an investment on a high yield young talent. ADL and Napoli's Sporting Director, Giuntoli, were especially convinced about Osimhen before coughing out that amount. So any coach they will be hiring next should Rino make way, will be asked how he intends to get the best out of their brand new, Main #9. How he intends to make the team gel for him and him for them. It's definitely one of the potential coaches' main pre-hire questions.

Joe Aribo's Masterclass yesterday. MOTM for Rangers. Just about three games (need 7 points from final 8 games) from becoming League Champion with his side and is gonna play UCL football in 2021/22.

Leon Balogun, Calvin and ofcos Nnamdi Ofoborh (joining in the summer) are gonna be in the mix as well.

Leon Balogun's RB showing. Second consecutive game as a RB for Gerard's Rangers and had 100% take on success, an assist, 1 big chance created and wasn't dribbled past.
Plus check out that heat map below.

Interesting because Balogun's debut for Nigeria under Keshi was at RB as well before he got injured prior to the WC in 2014.

My tots: Although Balogun looks very decent in a RB role at his club playing against Dundee, it's different when playing international football and also would be on a whole other level in the UCL. He's an intelligent defender but he's not the fastest and will be more than likely beaten for pace by faster, younger, daring silky wingers. CB is still his best role for us but it's nice to see he could still be of use for a couple periods in a game at RB too if some forced tactical tweaks become necessary.

In all, he was near excellent in the role yesterday.

agree 100% with your postulations. KC just needs to be more dedicated. plus he thrives alot on confidence which he can only get with game time but understandably Rodgers won't give him that now.

Onuachu is a kind of player that I feel needs good to great service to get the best out of him. he has shown that with decent service he's pretty prolific.

Osimhen hmmm I love the boy to bits (no homo) and I know his injury and covid issues have affected him but no excuses he has to do better. I think he should reassess his game, tweak it a little to adjust to his teammates. glad yesterday's scare wasn't too serious. wish him a quick recovery and fast path back to goal scoring form.

12large1:

Nah iheanacho issue is professionalism, dedication, seriousness and belief. He has already shown last season that he can hack it in EPL if you believe in him. Onuachu will fit in a team that has Good Crossers of the ball while Osimehn will fit in a free flowing team. He was very predictable and stagnant today. Maybe it is his injury sha

Breaking: Taiwo Awoniyi sidelined for a few weeks.

This explains his absence on Saturday from the Matchday squad for FC Union Berlin. They won 1-0 at Freiburg anyway.

Recover soon Awo.

Agreed but Lukaku and Ronaldo are not one dimensional and miles apart in terms of quality in comparison to Osimhen.

In my opinion he should stay at Anderlecht for one more season

How is Osimhen one dimensional? U just type anything and expect people to go along. A player that can play with his back to goal and still make the runs is now one dimensional?

everybody just using Osimhen's lack of form to take pop shots at the young man anyway it's allowed. When Victor starts scoring again by God's grace i hope the usual suspects will be men enough to admit they were wrong and not come and be shifting goal posts to here and now territory.
