The former governor of Imo state and Senator representing Imo West Senatorial district, Rochas Okorocha, on Monday, said that when he was governor of the state, that he never arrested anybody.

Okorocha spoke to newsmen when his supporters visited him at his spibat mansion in Owerri, on his arrest for the alleged invasion into the government sealed Royal spring palm estate linked to his wife, Nkechi.

There is more to the haste of seizures and probes. I am not against seizure of stolen items. But law and order should be in place. The governor supposed to use order of court to seal the properties. The current drama might only whip up sentiments in favour of Rochas. Justice is painstaking but there is no alternative to the law courts.

That lead man sent by Hope Uzodinma to arrest Rochas is the most stupid public official in recorded history...one can hardly differentiate him from the owo da tigers on the streets and roads of Lagos.

No iota of restraint or respect from that man...to the extent of placing his hands on Rochas and shoving him on...Rochas might have his excesses but for crying out loud the man is an ex governor and a serving senator.
