I learnt the hard way.
Since then, even if you cry blood, I no get be say I no get.

Well, that is wrong and not good in my opinion. I personally has borrowed money from friends and paid back and i have had friends borrow from me and pay back as well. However, i have had friends borrow and not pay back. Now, its case by case, a friend borrowed 200k and promised to pay back next month and told me how he needed it, now i am not going to say even if him cry blood i will not borrow cos someone did not pay in the past. All i did was remind him how it's easy to borrow and hard to pay back and how he needs to rethink the amount and if he will be able to pay back. Things happen i know and i will accommodate it as long as youre upfront and sincere and truthful with me. I will not close my door to my friends cos some people defaulted in the past.

So he has more than 4m before, and we were still dragging btw paying back 2m and 1.5m
He's in deep trouble because I won't return his money, let's turn it to war if he wants battle. His attitude is not worth returning anything back to him especially for the fact that I even tried to consider him before to pay 1.5 out of 4

Most people have reason or reasons for their decision in life. If you have borrow but me personally i only borrow what i know if the person i borrowed money refused to pay i won't be bother or upset about it.

You loaned your friend N4,000,000 last year and since then, he has refused to pay back, which has really deteriorated the friendship.

You beg him to just pay you N2,000,000 and forget the rest because you are in a financial crisis. Your friend then says he can only get you N1,500,000 since that's all he has.

You feel like you have no option but to accept. You eventually give him your account details to send the amount directly to your bank.

You wake up the next morning, checked your account and there is N15,000,000 in it. You kept staring at the screen in disbelief but it is indeed 15m.

You grab your phone and find 53 missed calls from him and an additional 27 text messages begging you to transfer back N13,500,000 since he only meant to send N1,500,000 and mistakenly added an extra "0."

As a well-brought-up person, what are you supposed to do?

1. Send back N13,500,000/=?
2. Take your full N4,000,000/=?
3. Keep the entire N15,000,000/=?

I don't have time for problem. My only goal will be to collect my 4m and send him the rest. Matters like this before you know it will now involve death, injuries, diabolism and all that rubbish.

You're still not getting my point sir. In my opinion, you don't judge others based on your past experiences., reasons etc. Yes it will shape how you evaluate people of course but you still give some people the benefit of the doubt. You don't close your doors completely to everyone if it comes to borrowing more than youre willing to lose.

A friend I borrowed 450k to add up and buy a car showed me the true color of when you borrowed human money. Dude was paying me (making transfer to my account without my consent) 10k, 8k, 5k, 15k, 17,500, 2,850, 45k. I just told him to stop and forget about the money. That is the last time I will ever borrow anyone money, not even my blood relative. If you asked me to borrow money, I will just gift you what I can. End of story!

Lol.
Well brought up person? Who is that? None of my friends thinks that about me.

It will take him at least the same amount of my wasted time to get his N11million back. I'll need that time to trade using the full amount and recoup some satisfaction funds. And he must come to my house and weep at least once a month in my presence during that time; any month he doesn't weep is not counted.

If he reports me to the police, I'll claim that he gave me a normal loan, it being our custom to loan each other money. I'll show them the transfer when I loaned him the N4million, and I'll just ask for notice to pay back instalmentally over two years.

I hate bad debtors with a passion.

Take your 4 million with interest using the prevailing commercial bank interest rate for the period and return the remaining.

If both of you are Christians, take your 4m and return the rest.

I get what you mean bro. I have a friend like a father to me one of the most nicest guy ever.

He borrowed a work colleague £320, not knowing that this guy wanted to go back to his country now come January 2018 after Christmas holiday this guy that borrowed money didn't come back to work then late February we heard he borrowed money from nearly 10 of his work colleague. By the time we total every it was worth nearly £1000.

Fast forward a year later same guy borrowed someone from his country £3500. Till today he is still looking for this guy that has his £3500.

I have learnt my lessons years ago any money above £50 is the highest i can go. If i borrowed you £100 it has ti be bank transfer and reference it as loan to pay back.

Nobody wants to be seen as a fool, better to be friends than be enemies cause of your kindness.

I understood your point better to borrow than to collect grin
