applied: Dec 24th 2020
NSE request: January 11 2021
Uploaded IELTS and mybankstatement same day but it reflected on Jan 14th. I had already submitted everything they needed for NSE through the webform but since they asked I provided it again.
Upfront medicals: Jan 7 2021
medicals reflected: Feb 2 2021
Received confirmation letter and then sent an email copied from here with by another testifier. I got an email from Nairobi that they were reviewing my application, I should be patient and I would soon hear from them

Official transcripts are not mandatory before admission to University of Calgary.

You can apply for admission with your unofficial transcripts.

Once admission has been granted you will be required to submit your official transcripts to finalize your admission.

What can be done as it seems SOP is important, please what can be done?

Had my first degree in social work. Graduate with a CGPA of 4.11. Wanted to switch back to management as I have always wanted so I decided to go for a psychology related field. HRM was the closest for me so I applied and gained admission.

Sponsor
My mother is my sponsor. She has about 3.6 million in her naira account and 10kUSD in her dollar account. Both in first bank. The naira account Has over 11million running through 12months. Also have some landed properties worth about 18million in her name.

Sorry for the outcome of your application. I have reviewed your profile and supporting documents attached herein. My professional advice for you is to opt for a direct Master's program that is relevant to your previous undergraduate studies in HRM. Its very obvious that the visa officer rejected your application due to the fact that there is no logical progression in your academics and on this ground, he is not satisfied that you're a bonafide student in view of your 2.1 grade in your first degree.

The Statement of Purpose should be the first document in the Client Information column. This will enable the visa officer review the letter prior to other supporting documents.

Hospitality Management is not reasonable in light with Mass Communication. As a result, your application for study permit is at higher risk of getting a refusal. Its advisable that you should go for a program that is in direct correlation with your undergraduate studies or current employment. You can apply for any Media Communication programs which are available at Conestoga College. To begin the process, you will require to submit either your statement of result or degree certificate as well as a scanned copy of your transcripts, waec result and resume.

Those of you that attended Public Universities, how are you getting your Transcript this period with the Non Academic staff strike ? I have missed out on two schools after paying for Application thanks to no Transcript.... Any Imsu student here ? If yes please tell me how you got your transcript recently and plug me up because I have paid since October but yet to get mine.

Hello Frankrobbn1,

Please I have two questions as regards my daughter study permit, she applied for January intake in her school when she submitted her application to IRCC and has received PPR praise God. I know she need to send a new admission letter via webform as she did not start classes online.

1) For May intake 2021 in her school the program will be delivered online stating classes will resume to in class when the government allows, will she be granted entry into Canada at the border?

2) She has option for September 2021 it will be mixed both online and in class. Will it raise concern if she sends an admission letter of September and not of May to IRCC for passport stamping. Won't questions be asked why she is opting for a farther resumption date.

Letter of Sponsorship is far different from Statement of Purpose (SOP)
I will advise you write a good SOP and raise it via webform. Just as you have rightly said, it is the bedrock of your application. It is what convinces the VO.

Need your degree cerificate how, pls explain that part, cos if you're applying for a cert/ diploma you're def gonna apply with your first degree. Also Mass comm to Hospitality mgt, is your work experience inline with H.M? Cos you'll need to explain y ure crossing...it will end in praise
