The University of Northern Nigeria was renamed Ahmadu Bello University after its opening however the date of rebranding is not clear on either ABU's official website or on Wikipedia.

Story has it that Ahmadu Bello when he was approached for where ABU would be situated, he took them to a spot in Zaria and said, You can take all you want from this spot , all the way to Sokoto.

Just imagine your grandfather acquired land as big as 3 Football fields near this location back then. It would be for peanuts, almost free.

Dangote's grandfather in Kano acquired some large parcels of unwanted land back in the day. The rest is history.

Land would always be an asset.
