Yes. You can apply for another Msc. But you must not mention your 1st MSC when applying for visa.

Also, You will have to find something else to fill up the time you spent doing the Msc because there can't be dormant years where you didn't do anything.

well in my case I stated my previous masters in my application with transcripts, I only explained in my SOP why I wanted another Masters degree.

Hello everyone,

Please I have a question. I have successfully secure an admission to study I.T in Ireland. Here is my question, am currently in University here in Nigeria and because of this ongoing strike, I don't want to finish. I want to start all over in Ireland, will this be an issue for me when applying for visa, what do you think will be the best reason to state on my letter explanation as the reason for not wanting to complete my studies in Nigeria?

Your honest advise/suggestions is highly welcome. Thanks

Hello @HappyBite, please if you don't mind me asking how old you are? because reading thru this forum have been seeing where they do say people above the age of 23 can't secure visa for undergraduate studies. So please are you above or below 23?

Yeah I read that and was a bit scared, I'm 24 tho. And maybe my small academic background helped, with explanation. I think you are good to go if you explain yourself well.

If above 23 without any additional academic history asides O-level is always tricky .

But you can be above with at least OND or 1-3 years of academic transcript in a University or polytechnic* Ongoing ASUU strike is actually a good explanation as to why you may be considering studying abroad.

Good afternoon,
I recently picked interest in studying medical physics for MSc. I have done some findings on the two schools that offer that in Ireland,, NUI Galway and UCD.

My issue is with tution fees I saw on their site, €25K plus for both... I was surprised because I have heard people talk about paying between €10k and €15k... Please can someone help me around this..

I've also seen, from the beginning pages about school representatives guilding one through the process. Please I would like to know if any seminar would be held this year and I do I get representatives from both schools..

Thanks.
I appreciate...

The sentence in bold is contradictory.
Besides, admission committee looks into resilience and research potentials.

How can one be given admission on the basis of your excuse in bold?

No go write that thing for your SOP as explanation for poor grades.
