Lol, memories. But I'm suspecting Fearless marketers have infiltrated this thread. Their manner of comments is a bit patronizing. Though I agree that the advert is quite refreshing. But personally, the Airtel 444 jingle takes the cake for me cos it was very creative with the rhymes.

Back to memories, some of the ones that stand out for me:

Klin soap - E go stain my body, ( the fish seller said this about 3 or 4 times which was quite very funny)
Skye Bank - I wish .. saying yes to your needs (sang by lighthouse family)
Guinness - Udeme is a great man
MTN - a little girl running around and singing and clapping and the crowd got bigger all clapping and dancing ( song goes like - in a little old boat, clap back, clap back, clap your hands, right hand, My mama told me, that she was ...)
Coca-Cola - Oh oh oh oh oh, When I get older I will be stronger they call me freedom just like a waving flag (World cup 2010 theme song)
Sterling Bank - One Customer, One customer, One customer, One custo... YOU!
Mimee Noodles - Hoo shasha hooshasha mimee mimee
Bank PHB - One day cars will run on water - Unfortunately, na the bank vaporize completely
MTN - Step out to the balcony, see the sunshine, Ooooh Jerry, so cute (very stupid sentimental advert)

Who remembers that St Moritz advert that had Lighthouse family playing in the background, used to be shown back in the Day on NTA.
There was something relaxing about that advert.

...and Rothmans King Size advert

With Both Lighthouse Family's songs, "High" and "Ocean Drive" respectively

We will be watching Secrets of the sand and these advert will just come in

Good Ole days.

There was also Rothmans King size advert with Lighthouse Family's Ocean Drive

Best advert of all time
Gulder(the search)
Gulder(the return)
Guinness (udeme is a great man)

Gulder advert in the 90s was a short creatively good video

A man's (Baritone) voice will say, "The Ultimate Mountain" and Mount Everest pictures will appear

The voice will continue, "The Ultimate Engine" and Rolls Royce pictures will be shown

Again, "The Ultimate Gem" and a picture of Diamond will appear

Then, "The Ultimate Beer"
A female voice will echo "GULDER" then that man's voice will reply, "The Ultimate"

Lovely advert

I'd give it to Guinness

That Udeme commercial is just too lit, I had to Google the soundtrack and use it as my notification tone.

Closely followed by the 'my senior brother is a great man' narrative.

I vibe to Airtel advertorial too, from the two men traveling talking about old times and their Airtel TV advert couple with that Brymo's soundtrack...

For me, in addition to the above mentioned by nairalanders, I also liked the following adverts:
1. Ecobank ( that's ecobank, that's ecobank)
2. Planta margarine (children it's breakfast time)
3. Malta Guinness-I feel good
4. Chevalier napoleon brandy ( I don't take the drink o, but I like the voice that said "the feeling is real, the smoothness a deal"
5. I also like the voice in Chelsea London dry gin advert
6. Milo
7. Bournvita the vitality drink, and the A for vitamin A for bright eyes
8. The Peak advert that says "mummy must change to peak"
9. Enjoy the brighter life star
10. Close up (I'm not your daughter I'm your dentist)
11. Omo, omo super blue omo, washes brighter and it shows.

and lots more I can't remember now

Taa! In this 2021, if your man gives you sunshine as his "special" gift, you go collect? Same sunshine wey over 7 billion people dey collect every day grin grin, where's the uniqueness in that? As embarrassing as it may be, most ladies will still choose "urgent 2k" over yeye sunshine cheesy

Meanwhile, all those banks you mentioned were just scamming us through their sweet unrealistic songs. Promising heaven but delivering shingba. Nigerians are wiser now, only Heritage Bank hasn't gotten the memo.

@Heritage bank, I just don't see the point of their "discover your heritage" campaign. How is that relevant to Naira, Kobo, USD and Bitcoin?
