BossJamal:I was about to take you serious thinking you're "ndi abroad" who came back after a long time only to discover that things hasn't changed much until you said the parts in bold. You're obviously an ofenmanu man trying to criticize destructively. For starters, SW cities and towns are currently the most backward and stagnated in Nigeria today. Owerri and Abuja are the only two cities in Nigeria where you can't find keke or motorcycles in its city centre, taxify and other modern taxi hailing services are common in Owerri too, posh restaurants and hotels are everywhere. Onitsha, Enugu, Awka, Owerri etc. in Igboland are all massively urbanizing with modern houses than you can find elsewhere in Nigeria. You mentioned El Rufai and Donald Duke as success stories but conveniently forgot about Dave Umahi. Dude forget propaganda, if there is any region doing well in terms of modernization outside Abuja and Lagos, it is SE. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by collagiatepaper: 3:58pm On Feb 27, 2021 |
Everything you said are okay, but the highlighted is where you failed woefully. The major means of transportation in Owerri is keke, Okada is now resurfacing around New Owerri by Port Harcourt road. I have pictures of what I am saying because I passed Owerri just recently to PH BastardWike: |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by BastardWike: 4:23pm On Feb 27, 2021 |
collagiatepaper:Is Port Harcourt road city centre? Is there okada or Keke along Wetheral road, Bank road, Douglas road, Ikenegbu layout, Orlu road etc? Why are you so insecured about Owerri? |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by collagiatepaper: 4:27pm On Feb 27, 2021 |
You are the one always insecure because any time you comment here, you would always find a way to spew your usual unfounded rubbish about Owerri. This is not Imo thread where you would be blowing your lies. Keke is a major means of transportation in Owerri. And Okada is equally back in Owerri as an additional means of transportation. This is not hate but fact, I have pictures to prove it if you doubt me. BastardWike: |

martinect2803:Do you have to mention his name? No well paying job is easy. James Eze earns very good salary as CPS. It will also add to his already rich resume. Why do I sense jealousy in your comment? |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by BastardWike: 5:02pm On Feb 27, 2021 |
collagiatepaper:You can always lie to yourself and still believe in your own lie. Anybody who is in Owerri here knows that Keke and motorcycles don't run in the city centre except outskirts of town. The type of cars they use for Bolt or Taxify in Owerri will even shock you. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by collagiatepaper: 5:07pm On Feb 27, 2021*. Modified: 6:27pm On Feb 27, 2021 |
Just look at how you are lying to yourself. New Owerri is the best part of Owerri but you have Okada as the major means of transportation there. Port Harcourt road by New Owerri is where Imo secretariat, CBN, Govt house and major state agencies are located, so which other place is more of a city center than that place? Take this facts, keke and okada are the major means of transportation in Owerri. Fact BastardWike: |

I saw and read 2013 Soludo manifesto, it's very mind blowing, and that's actually what we want in Anambra state if implemented, and I know his 2021 manifesto will be more cool and mind blowing. I also learnt that was his 2009 manifesto. https://www.nairaland.com/355570/see-soludos-plans-detail-africas If he will implement all this, let's elect him if he won't fall our hand because I really want to see Anambra looking like Dubai and Taiwan |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Nobody: 1:14pm On Feb 28, 2021 |
Rocksvibes234:Soludo has a good manifesto but the major issue is whether he can recruit the right people to execute the vision. Obi at least had Obaze who structured the MDG manifesto guideline and had a great Commissioner of Education and decent Commissioner of Works. Obiano shows the danger of appointing people on the basis of nepotism/friendship rather than ability. The Commissioner of Works may be an engineer but he has not shown any excellence. Urban roads are worse than they have been for a long time. The state has spent huge sums building bridges rather than roads. The Commissioner of Environment has sat there as city gutters turn into the stench-filled garbage dumps of places like Lagos and Ibadan. Then there is the Commissioner of Markets and Transport under whom armies of barrow hawkers have colonized spaces in front of market places causing chaos, congestion and filth while paying money to undercover unlicensed revenue agents. Add too that Keke which cause an even worse nuisance than the Okada they replaced because there is no restriction on the numbers licensed to fill the pockets of APGA insiders unlike saner cities elsewhere. Soludo needs to build his team before the election and focus on things that are achievable. I like his urban plan, his industrial plan and his community engagement plan. The idea of grant matching for using town unions rather than the corrupt LGAs as development agencies is a good one and it will infuse a new spirit for community members home and abroad to once again contribute to their development. |

Trash from a very confused fellow. We don't need your opinion because it is useless. Obiano has done so well in infrastructure, transport, education, agriculture, etc. More especially Obiano has transformed transportation sector of Anambra cities particularly Onitsha and Awka. Anambra urban roads received proper attention. Markets in Anambra are organized and decent. APGA has done so well from Obi to Obiano, the next governor will take it a top higher. Anambra remains the fastest developing state in Nigeria. If you are pained for then take a hike. [s] mktinsight:[/s] |
