Even the GOP is divided under his watch. It was already hard enough for them to win elections when united. However, he is very popular among racists, white supremacists, deplorables, mostly uneducated white men, and far right groups that are now slowly taking over the GOP by working their way up the hierarchy of the party.

McConnell, Graham and other Senate Republicans already realized this and avoided putting their political futures at risk by strongly opposing his impeachment. Let's hope the Dems play their cards wisely at the 2022 midterms.

Hillary lost the elections because of poor strategic planning. She did little to court the support of Bennie Sanders and his supporters who felt betrayed in the primaries and she took the "blue wall states" of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania for granted. Instead of campaigning in these states, she was campaigning in red states she had little or no chance of winning.

Even at that she received 48.2% of total votes, while Trump received 41.6%, which was still in the projected poll figures.
