Pls I have another question as regards Proof of Financial Support; I have someone that is willing to sponsor me. He is my uncle.

Can he transfer the funds for (tuition+maintenance fees+ accommodation) to my own personal account? If YES, do I need to get any letter of sponsorship from him or gift of deeds (for the money transferred)? I’m afraid the transfer of large sums of money might raise a concern in the mind of the visa officer?

OR is it that the most important thing is that the money should just be in the student’s account for the 28 days period or more; the visa manager does not care about the source of funds?

Also, do I need to pay the whole tuition fee (for the issuance of CAS) or any amount/deposit prior to applying for visa? ( what I actually mean is that can I pay part of the tuition and leave the rest in my account?

I know my questions are MUCH but pls, help a brother. Your vital and Swift responses will be highly appreciated. God bless you all.

Please who is Visa Manager?

Can he transfer the funds for (tuition+maintenance fees+ accommodation) to my own personal account? Yes, he SHOULD. If YES, do I need to get any letter of sponsorship from him or gift of deeds (for the money transferred)? NOT REQUIRED. OR is it that the most important thing is that the money should just be in the student’s account for the 28 days period or more; YES the visa manager does not care about the source of funds? (You MAY be asked about source of funds in a phone interview, I know someone who was asked that question during her interview).

Also, do I need to pay the whole tuition fee (for the issuance of CAS) or any amount/deposit prior to applying for visa? ( what I actually mean is that can I pay part of the tuition and leave the rest in my account? (Your university will tell you how much you have to pay to get a CAS, the proportion depends on the university, in practice most ask for a part payment, you leave the rest in your account).

I know my questions are MUCH but pls, help a brother. Your vital and Swift responses will be highly appreciated. God bless you all.

Correct!!!

Naffyfera:
To add to this, if you already have BSc medical laboratory science from Nigeria and have lab experience in Nigeria, you can apply for HCPC registration through the international route. You don't need to complete the IBMS registration portfolio for this.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 5 by omopapa: 11:09am On Feb 28, 2021
Trainee biomedical scientist jobs where u have to complete your registration portfolio are usually 24 months contract. However, if u complete within a year or less, u can register with HCPC

jaeybee98:
How many months/years experience do you think will guarantee registration with HCPC?

Marshall008:
Hello my people, I’ve been following this thread from page 4, which I decided to start the processing for me, my wife and a kid.

I’ve got admission from University of Hull - £9000 (2k initial deposit)- One year

On the other hand I got with Teesside University - £7,500 per year (4K initial deposit)- 18months. For first year £5,500.

Please, I need opinion on which one is better and easy to make my wife and kid join me. Considering jobs opportunities and other essential factors.

I will really appreciate responses

I have contacted CTM but I have not gotten a reply..
This is my day 2 and I haven't being tested for covid 19 Should I be worried although I got a call confirming if I am isolating. Has anyone faced this issue..

Hello, I have a similar question concerning funds. Is it necessary for my sponsor to transfer my tuition funds to me. My sponsor is in UK. I felt he can pay my tuition fee directly from UK to get rid of unfavorable exchange rate. Would it have any implication later on?

That is absolutely fine as well.... if the sponsor is ready to pay part or full of the fees from UK, then that much better than sending it to naija. There no implication as it is allowed

Let your uncle transfer the balance of your tuition fee and maintenance into your account, you don't need any letter from him or anything whatsoever.
The payment of your tuition fee/deposit depend on your school and your choice. Follow your school rules and pay the deposit required, but if you want to pay all the tuition once it's fine. The require deposit must be paid Sha and you must have the balance+maintenance for a year in your account.
