According to a news that was posted by Punch Newspaper
this morning, it was alleged that the 38 abducted students of
Government Science College, in Kagara, Niger State have
narrated how they were treated by bandits after they were kept in captivity for 10 days before they were eventually released yesterday.

While they met with the Niger State governor, one of the
students whose name was given as Suleiman Lawal, an SS3
student, narrated how they were treated in captivity, as he
alleged that they never thought they could regain their
freedom back again because, the bandits were so wicked on
them and they were very much with each of them carrying
sophisticated weapon.

Another student, Mahmood Mohammed said that while they
were in the bush, he had severe headache and there was
nothing the bandits did to treat it, as he felt he was going to
die due to the pain he was feeling.

Another SS3 student whose name was given as Abubakar Sidi revealed it that the bandits denied them food for several hours after they were abducted and when they eventually brought food (beans) for them to eat, they waited till they finished eating and after they finished their food that day, they (bandits) started calling all of them out one after the other and were beating them, as they were also asking for the occupations of their fathers, and if anybody should say "soldier or police", they will beat the person to the point of death, like they did to him.

Abubakar further said throughout their stay in the bush, they
were eating beans and no other food till they regained their
freedom.
