@Fahdiga, in short,it's stranger than fiction.And,to think they had lived together for 39 yrs,it's even more shocking that the marriage could come to such an abrupt end ,even with 6 children.But, forcefully evicting her is stretching the cord too far.The law should work and should be seen to be taking its right course.

It only baffles you because you believe in the fake concept of 'love'. If you see marriage as the purely service-for-pay arrangement which it truly is, such happenings will no longer baffle you. Men want sex and children with a reasonable guarantee of paternity, women want comfort and future financial stability for those joint children (to continue to support her when her sexual value is zero). So they hook up, and to make it seem more socially palatable, by pretending that they married for 'love' instead of lust and greed respectively.

Things go sour when one or the other business partner feels that they are no longer getting what they signed up for. I'm sure in this case, the man thinks he's not getting his money's worth from the now totally tasteless body of a woman in her sixties when he can get 19 year olds for a fraction of the price. Maybe he does not want to use the Ned Nwoko method.
