Factory reset...erased all data and started again...
I met only my contacts there, the rest wiped off.

Guys please I need ur help. Ever since I did update of my note 5 to android 9 , my phone keeps going on and off on it's own. It's by God's grace it's on right now for me to type this.
I have never had problem prior to the update. Just the occasional app crashes that's all.
I updated because I found out my phone wasn't loading some websites no matter the browser I use but my mum's phone which is a tecno spark-something could load them. My phone is higher in spec than hers except for the android OS version. So I figured that if I updated,
it might solve my issue (If not for that,
I don't like anything system update on mid phones). Well I did the update and some of the websites started loading on my phone.
I loved the update infact coz it gave me an fm radio app, and allowed me use my phone light below 15%. Plus the other cool stuffs.
Now the problems
- phone keeps going on silent/vibration mode on its own.
- phone then starts going off on it's own if torchlight is on for too long.
- phone starts going off on it's own and coming back on automatically whether torch is on or not. This can go on for a whole night till the next day.

Please I want to know who else has had this issue? What did you do?
-If I upgrade to OS 10 will it stop?
- those who had issues with their OS 9 updated did the issues resolve after updating to OS 10?
