Not exactly asking about Python, but I am interested in data analysis and would like to start with Excel, especially DAX as a functional language before proceeding into a programming language proper.

is there anyone with the knowledge of DAx here who can advise or provide resources to master it within 2-3 months.

please I need information.

What do you need concerning DAX?

@SirWallace
Thanks for reaching out.
I want to master DAX in two months or less, and move on to other data analysis program.

What do I need?

I need videos, or where I can access them free of charge. I want free courses too.

And I want to ask if I can earn good bucks with this skill on up work?
Thanks bro

If you want to master DAX, search MSTPDA series by "mike excel is fun".

He has videos that cover everything you need in excel.

Thanks for the encouragement Boss. I just recently learnt Excel. Will download Power BI today to learn how to use dashboards. I recently stumbled into your thread and started learning data science/analytic tools. Thanks again.
Boss pls after excel, what did u learn again, is it sql first then power Bi before python

I think I looked at the fundamentals of using python data science libraries before going to Power BI simply because with Excel, I could create interactive dashboards though not with the beauty of Power BI.

I'll advise you... people don't really LEARN a tool completely. You just know the fundamentals and then sometimes when you're stuck, you use available resources like stack overflow and Google to sort yourself out. As basic as you may think Excel is, it is so vast that you can't just finish learning as more add ins keep coming into updated versions. Same as other tools.

Best of luck.

I'm at this stage too.. Currently I just scour freelance sites, register with them and see what sort of jobs available that matches your skills to an extent.. Customise your profile to fit those jobs and apply for them.. I'm registered only on upwork tho and so far no jobs yet but mainly because I am not that serious. I hope this helps
Boss at this stage can dey call u data analyst

Please, I discovered that dataset size on kaggle are big. Take for example, while practicing an exercise on kaggle and I want to download the dataset to practice.

Is there a way to make the file size smaller before downloading or I have to download it that way?

Mehn I haven't used kaggle before. I just know you can get data from there.

Just download the exact file you need. It’s usually big because there are lots of files comprising of different datasets which you might not need.
