God then taught me the meaning of a Bible verse only moments ago, speaking directly into my mind the understanding that He had for me, without activating my thinking muscles in the process.
On other occasions, He speaks in what I call an audible voice... Loud enough to startle your ears but silent enough that no one else around you hears it.

I was talking to a special friend on the phone recently, and she told me people mix up the function of speaking in tongues. Yes, it means speaking a foreign language. But many just say rubbish. The speaker speaks a language which is spoken by another kind of people. It is not just saying anything. While she believes in speaking in tongue as a gift which not everyone has, my old church believes it is an evidence of having the holy spirit. But really, as I grow up, I agree more with my friend. I am not saying you cannot speak or sing, but are you really sure it is supernatural?

I could have written off these things as rubbish, but I had a granny who was a prayer warrior. I can speak some Russian, and there was a day I phoned her, and she was praying for me. Her tongue changed and she started praying in tongues. I picked Russian words and they were like: God, holiness, righteousness, faithfulness, powerful, etc. She did not speak complete sentences, but I can pick and understand what she was saying: God is righteous, God is faithful, God is powerful...etc. And she did not even know these things. After the prayer I told her about it. She then narrated how someone said same about Arabic language. Funny she is a christian, but the Holy Spirit pushed out Arabic from someone who never learned the alphabets just because someone who understood Arabic was there, and the message was for something special which was decoded. So, I really think Holy Spirit will not push out rubbish we cannot translate or decode. Though, I know there is gift of interpretation too. But my point is that: these things can easily be faked. It is better to stay safe.

Even children and teenagers come on this platform to start writing what they do not understand. It is a faceless forum, and I think many should not be taking serious. A teen who is still fed by his parents (even his parents are ignorant about these topics) comes online and start posting rubbish.
