The Media Have Been Unfair On President Buhari by Nobody: 10:36am On Mar 05, 2021
The reality is those who control the media have been unfair on President Buhari.

They focus on his ethnicity rather than his achievements, in this age of new online media, where clickbait articles to create controversy and to draw traffic has taken over the media, the need to create sensational and negative news for advert money is more powerful than actual journalitic reports.

Some of the questions that need to be asked.

1- Why is the press more interested in promoting negativity than positivity?

2- Why is the press more interested in the president ethnicity rather than his accomplishments

3- Why is the press more interested in sending the country to choas rather than creating peace.

The press is a powerful tool, they create and change public opinion, with all these power, the press in Nigeria have choosen to focus on negativity rather than bring the people together.

They have chosen to be an ethnic warrior and watch dog rather than Nigeria watch dog.

Of what purpose is the press if its only job is to spread hate and violence, of what purpose is the press if its job is to create agitations because the president is from the north.

OP you must be a fool. Does the APC not have its own media outlets...? What about foreign news outlets that have been shedding light on the atrocities committed by Mr President and his incapable government...are they also biased in their reporting? It is only a foolish workman that blames his tools.

The only foreign media with on ground journalists in Nigeria is Bbc

Those ones that have taken propaganda to a whole new level.

Buhari administration seems to want to take on the media and no one ever wins a battle against the media.

Is it only Buhari that will develop Nigeria, how about your state governors and senators, your councillors and local governments chairmen.

What are they doing?

One of the good things he does in office is creation of Ministry of Banditry Empowerment and Amnesty Projects.

He also set a new standard for Northern governors to increase the tempo of insecurity so as to have more security votes to the region.

I heard that ngozi Okonjo-Iwela, an igbo woman that got support from the president is the head of the world trade organization.

Why didn't he put a northerner?

I heard that the Cbn Governor is from the East, why didnt he put a northerner there?

You only claim nepotism because the media says so, have you taken time to see the list of appointment based on tribe and state

Judge for yourself, from the images below...if you are a honest fellow.

How do you want the press to address this plain undemocratic issue?

The Executive, judiciary and legislature from one region?

So three roads and refurbishing a school is an achievement for a governor that will stay in power for 8 years

This is still part of the blame game and it will get you nowhere. What about the level of insecurity in the country...are they real or imagined narratives? Please answer.

You are just posting what the media says.

They are more interested in creating ethnic tension rather than unity.

How will the narrative you posted help in the development of Nigeria

Lets be realistic, security is better now than the last administration but the press have created a manufactured feeling to the public that Nigeria is at war.

Within my local government sir

There are 30 other local government in Oyo state which includes 10 other local government area in Ibadan alone

By the way, he has only spent two years.

The previous governor built a 26,km road, street panel street with CCTV camera and medical center in my local government area.

That is false. The number of deaths recorded in the last regime do not even meet up to what we have in Buhari's regime; and we are not even through with his regime.
