Good morning Guys.

Please I need help.

I graduated from a Polytechnic in Imo, I studied Estate Management and finished with an upper.

I plan on doing PGD in Marketing or Management science in Canada. My problem is I can't find which school offers such course and the steps I need to take to get start with the journey of applying for school, including the requirements and fees.

Please, help me out here.
Visit the link below for

PG. Cert in Marketing Programs and Schools offering them
https://www.collegesinstitutes.ca/our-members/list-of-degrees/?fwp_search_by_keyword=marketing&fwp_program_levels=graduate-certificate

Google the Programs one after the other, visit their respective websites to know their Admission Requirements , course outlines , Admission intakes (Fall- September, May-Spring, January-Winter), Tuition amount for International Students etc.

Most of these colleges would require Scanned Copies (in PDF) of the following documents for you to apply for admission

- International Passport Data Page
- Academic Tanscript from the school you graduated from (Student Copy) not Statement of Result
- Certificate of highest Degree from the school you graduated from
- Birth Certificate
- Cover Letter explaining how you are a good fit for the program (might be optional)
- Resume or CV or both (Might be optional)

Good day I was denied a Canada study visa based on this reason
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment

Please how can I respond to this situation if I want to reapply

Hello Biot34,

Sorry about the delay. Do well to request for your notes. In the abscene of it, include; payslips between 4 - 6 months, if you have huge inflows highlight the salary payments, employment letter of introduction if none was included, employment letter, promotion letter(s), salary increment letter(s), other documents for a secondary business activities etc.

For better understanding and more contributions, list the documents used to support your employment claims in your HC or CoR.

Hello Krissy01,

Germany is a good country to school, especially their tuition free education for international students though with little attached minor fees.

As it is for Germany the last time I followed up, securing an appointment date for interview is like asking the Nigerian government to pass a death sentence bill for (financial) corruption.

Applying through Uni-Assist to schools that use them might be more helpful during the admission process. Some schools might require you to have at least B1 in German or thereabout.

Maybe you should also consider UK or Ireland.

Best of Luck

Hahahaha, yes @ Just Mellow. You are very correct. But some lucky fellows still get appointment dates, although very few. If you are coming to Germany you need to have a blocked account of 10500€ OR a sponsorship letter. If you’ve recently graduated maybe within a year or two, you can consider the county, if not just look elsewhere.

Hello Immigration Gurus in the house,

I am new here, and I have come to seek advise on my application. I submitted an application and has been sent a letter requesting that i submit additional documents for NSE.

Firstly, i do not have a valid IELTS result. The one i have is expired and frankly don't feel like writing another.
Secondly, i have made a full payment of my fees for one year and do not have 30k in my account neither did i save the balance of 10k for 6 months before applying. My living expenses came as gift to support my intention, and i have attached a gift deed to that effect. So I do not qualify for NSE.

Please gurus, if i want to opt for the normal processing, is it necessary that i write IELTS, or IELTS is not mandatory when the school has given you an exemption. Can i also provide my 12months statement instead of the 6months.

Hello Saintee45,

You should sit it out and allow your application run through the regular stream. If the VO doesn't specifically request for an "updated BS" or "MBS," chill.

Through the regular stream, MBS nor IELTS isn't a requirement and as such not needed. If you still intend to help improve the chances of your application if you don't MBS and/or IELTS, provide an updated BS and an LOE explaining why you are opting for the regular stream with cogent reasons.

You submitted my bank statement without IELTS results that is new. you should have left it that way if you knew you couldn't get the required documents, and let them process it the normal way....just be prayerful as no one knows what could happen fulfilling one of the two requirements for the NSE route..

But am sure the elites would shed more light to it.

Guys, I had a lower credit in Electrical engineering after my diploma in 2019...Can I apply for Advance diploma in Canada with it? I'm 27yo. I have been reposting this and no one has responded. Please guys help me answer this question I take God beg una

Hello Elyasix,

If I get you correctly, your highest qualification is a Diploma? If correct, an Advance Diploma is well in place and as well as a Bachelor irrespective of your age. If you can satisfy/justify the aspect of finance, study gap, and home ties; you should be fine.

Please i need you guys help.am applying for Masters progress in Canada and have submitted all necessary documents to Canada embassy. I got message from them that I should tendee my IELTS result and a year statement of account within a month. The statement of account is not a problem but ilets.
Now the college in Canada has given me IELTS waivere letter and has adviced me to get another waiver letter from the school I graduated from here in Nigeria.
Do you think doing this will get me Canada student visa?

Hello,

I’m guessing the embassy has sent you NSE Request to help process your application faster (20 days) and you ought to meet the requirements for that to happen, and yes IELTS is a requirement.

In my opinion, If you are not able to convince the VO for why you don’t have IELTS, you can ignore the email and after 30 days, your application will go through the normal processing time. Maybe a guru or someone with similar experience can advice.

Good luck!

Hello people,

Please I need your advice on this issue.

I got approved recently and my counterfoil has dropped.

The counterfoil shows that my Visa is Valid from 4th March 2021 to 31st August 2021

My course is a 2 year course. My passport expires in 2024.

My letter of admission is dated 2020 September Fall I applied for CAQ ( Quebec) in 2019 and I didn’t apply again ( so apparently I used it to apply in 2020 for my visa application)

I have not started lectures online.

Is it normal that the validly of the visa issues is 6months?

What can I do? Also what does this mean?

Though I am waiting to receive the original passport but I just thought to put this out here incase anyone has had this experience before.

Please help out

@Lekiboboe
@Justmellow
@Frankrobbn
@ Everyone

Helli Meemeeibrahim22,

A visa can be issued by the VO based on discretion within a period of 6 months to 3 yrs or as the case may be.

This should have been worrisome if it was to be the issued SP. As it stands, you need to be in Canada before the specified date.

If you decide to point this out to the VO that handled your application, there must be a justifiable reasons for wanting an extended date because in clear sense, classes begin in Fall.

Hopefully, when you land at thw POE, your SP will be issued on the length of your PP or study duration, whichever comes first.

@JustMellow

Hello TANTUMERGO007,

Getting a student number from a DLI signifies that you are now a student of the institution with a valid LOA being issued as evidence.

Is this your case?

In some cases student number is given if the application has been passed/ certified for admission. It happened to me after submitting my application to McGill. I got a student ID(not application no) early Jan. Second week of January LOA dropped.
So getting a student number bf LOA is a positive sign that your application has been considered for admission (unofficially), and LOA will soon drop.

Good afternoon everyone,
I trust our day is going well. Please I am in the process of reapplying for my study visa having received a rejection earlier. I need a few clarification and would appreciate a response;

1. Is the UCI number that was generated in my previous application the same number which I will use for this application? If yes, am I expected to input in manually or will the system automatically generate it?

2. My form imm5257 is not generating a barcode despite having been successfully validated. Am I doing something wrong?

I apologise if these questions have been previously answered. I tried reading back but couldn't locate it.
