paulandpeter001:You already have a degree cert and you applied for a diploma program? Oh mehn! That's a red flag as it dosnt show any career progression at all, a Post Graduate program would have been perfect. At this point, there's really nothing much you can do than to wait for their final decision. Meanwhile, you can start searching for post- graduate/master's program that aligns with your field/work experience in case..... I wish you the Best! |

Thank you for your input. However, everything in their process was done in Abuja. They reside there too. My brother was able to get through to VFS via mail and phone. It was explained to him that because the children didn't do biometrics (as children under 14 years of age do not go through biometrics), they must pay biometrics transmission fees. They went ahead to pay and then resent their passports to the embassy. IRCC has sent messages of counterfoil i.e. that their visas have been pasted on their passports. We learn everyday. I pray someone applying with a minor under 14 years would take note of this and just go ahead to pay the transmission fee before sending their passports to the embassy. Please remember to attach the proofs of transmission fees with your package. JustMellow: |

Krissy01:In my honest opinion, I would suggest you hire an ogbonge lawyer that will help clear your name in this shitty situation with Canada, Misrepresentation is nothing to joke with as it has a way of coming up again in your future applications in any of the previously mentioned countries. Even if you end up not studying in canada, at least clearing this mess will go a long way, a denied application is far better than a ban! In addition, I suggest one of you(you or your sister)should step down to enable the other succeed first with this una plan. It may be difficult to proof financial buoyancy for undergraduate studies for two people being sponsored by the same parents, except sey una money long well well ![]() Whatever decision you eventually take, I wish you all the best! |

@Just Mellow, thanks for the response. My challenge is I have been trying to get another admission but not been able to because most schools are not taking 2.2 for Mechanical Engineering in the university. I also tried plenty colleges but still no head way. I need advise on which schools to check out for PGD in Mechanical Engineering/related courses. The reason for denial in the gcms note is: Applicant seeks to study electro-mechanical engineering technology diploma program at Centennial College. Applicant has been employed as a mechanical engineer for 8 years. Applicant already has a degree in mechanical engineering. - Applicant's plan of studies does not appear reasonable given applicant's employment and education history - Information provided do not demonstrate a logical progression or a clear career path - I am not satisfied that the proposed studies are reasonable in light of applicant's qualifications, previous studies, employment history, level of establishment, future prospects and plans and considering the magnitude of investment - I am not satisfied that applicant's purpose of visit/motivation for entry into Canada is educational advancement Thanks everyone. |

Good evening everyone, I trust our day is going well. Please I am in the process of reapplying for my study visa having received a rejection earlier. I need a few clarification and would appreciate a response; 1. Is the UCI number that was generated in my previous application the same number which I will use for this application? If yes, am I expected to input in manually or will the system automatically generate it? 2. My form imm5257 is not generating a barcode despite having been successfully validated. Am I doing something wrong? I apologise if these questions have been previously answered. I tried reading back but couldn't locate it. |

Please gurus in the house I need your response please. 1. If I have a friend in Ontario and my school is in Vancouver, can I fly directly to Ontario, do the 3days mandatory quarantine there and stay with my friend for the 14days quarantine before proceeding to Vancouver? I'm trying to reduce the amount I will spend on airbnb apartments. 2. How can I make payment for the mandatory quarantine booking? 3. What amount of cash is advisable to travel with, as I can't open an account till I get there? |

Hello everyone one, please I need an urgent response to this. I submitted my application on 25th February 2021, got NSE request for IELTS only on 2nd march and expires 1st April. I honestly cannot submit this due to work pressure. Do I write an explanation letter or allow the time to roll. Thou I plan writing end of April during my vacation. Note that I submitted MBS. |
