In line with our Strategic Transport Master Plan, I commissioned the 1.4km dual carriage Pen Cinema Flyover Bridge and Ramp with 5 adjoining network of roads today.

It was great to stand before Lagosians to celebrate the delivery of this landmark project, which reflects our administration’s belief in the principle of continuity in governance.

When our administration was inaugurated, this project was at about 20% completion stage.

With the delivery of this bridge, which is complemented with traffic signalisation and drainage channels, we have resolved the perennial traffic arising from huge human and vehicular movement from Agege-Pen Cinema Intersection towards Abule Egba, Fagba, Oke Koto and Iyana Ipaja.

But Ambode completed Ajah and Abule Ẹgba bridge from start to finish. Which bridge have you built from start to finish?
Ordinary to patch Ikorodu Road at Ojota, you've been at it for the past 2 years.

This Sanwo-Olu has been talking for the past 2 years now with nothing to show.

Some comments above showed why Nigeria is in this bad shape. Completion of inherited projects by a government is as good as starting a new one. It is the responsible thing to do.

We have talked about this bridge in days; it's time to move on.
Lagos State enjoys massive attention on Nairaland.
This platform rarely captures what happens elsewhere in Nigeria, especially the development in the north.
It's a good thing that Arrewa is trying to bridge that Information gap.
Every state deserves some attention so people don't get the impression that Nigeria started and needed in Lagos and Abuja - like el-Rufai's son once argued.

Lagos is about continuity.

If Nigeria used the Lagos template, we wouldn’t have had this much uncompleted projects across the country.

Other state governors abandon their predecessors projects to initiate projects they won’t be able to complete during their tenure.

However Sanwo-Olu don’t need to talk too much about Ambode, just commission the project and move on to the next task. Time no dey!

They keep berating this guy, but some of the common sense developments were done by him.

For example, he dismantled the roundabouts at the lekki epe expressway and replaced them with traffic lights. A move that drastically reduced the traffic along that axis

He introduced 112 police squad cars in Lagos and they were actually quite effective at pulling people over at the start.

He pushed for reconstruction of the international airport road that had become an embarrassment to Nigeria.

Kaduna had an investors Summit and I was just laughing. The week after, the Governor asked Nigerian Breweries to reduce their production. 2 weeks later, he demolished an hotel owned by an opposition politician.

Depending on idiots like Arrewa to promote the North is a disservice to the North, if you know what I mean. Pick up a copy of Daily Trust, how many positive news about the North do you see there?
