samdaisi: Fact is, they don't know anything about Lagos, they don't care or give a damn about Lagos, their problem is the usual hatred, bitterness and anti-Tinubu headache. How do you justify or see ambode as a good governor or accept him as your hero when in fact he failed miserably and set Lagos back for decades. Instead of wasting time doubling back to complete all the projects ambode abandoned all the way back to Fashola's projects, Sanwo Olu should be concentrating on other issues and futuristic projects, but he can not simply because there's a backlog of abandoned projects to be completed. Thank God Ambode was not allowed a 2nd term because instead of years of project abandonment all over Lagos state, we'd be talking about 8 years of project abandonment from major projects like the Lagos Metro Rail to Lagos Badagry that he abandoned, they'll all rot and decay with Billions of dollars down the drain. The N5.6 Billion cardiac center was also abandoned and let rot and decay. |

It beats why and how Sanwo Olu with less than 2 years in office commissioned more projects than ambode's useless 4 years. When you abandoned projects and your responsibilities, you have less to deliver and achieve. At this fast project commissioning speed, Sanwo Olu is on track to get close to or even exceed Fashola's great performance. |

Nemere2020: Why are Igbos/Igbos always looking to acrimony between the Yoruba leaders about the development of the SW/Lagos to the detriment of their region. They seem to have agreed about the perdition of their leaders/region and their only hope is SW/Lagos. They are on Twitter, Facebook and here on Nairaland and all about the SW/Lagos. Even with all the monthly allocations they get in Igboland that are stolen by their corrupt leaders pasts and presents. They have given up and their future are been devour and stolen by their tribesmen but Alas they talked about Tinubu, Lagos, Ambode, Sanwolu and Osinbajo and SW as if their destiny and cords are tied to this blessed region. I fear that if Nigeria divides and deportation begins again unless they have Visa, they will be crying again like the post Biafra civil war and how they rebuild with $5. |

Moneyearners: So, useless ambode deserve credit for abandoning projects, including this bridge that Sanwo Olu resurrected, completed and commissioned? Is incompetence and abandoning projects good governance and your own measure of success? Basically, ipob logic is when you abandon projects all over the place, you are the best, you are successful and you deserve credit, but when the next governor did the right thing by resurrecting, completing and commissioning the projects, he's the bad guy and doesn't deserve any credit. See logic.  Going by ipob logic, the best way to receive praise and credit is to abandon projects that your successor completes and commissions. Who did this to your people? |

The lesson and the moral of the story here is basically that Sanwo Olu is able to commission more projects in less than 2 years than ambode's 4 years because Sanwo Olu did not abandon projects. When you complete and don't abandon projects, you have more projects to commission, but ambode couldn't commission the same number or even more projects because he was busy abandoning projects left and right. He could have finished and commissioned Lagos Badagry expressway, Lagos Metro, Cardian center and many more and receive the full credit and glory, but he did not want to touch the projects his predecessor started. When you think you are being smart, selfish, self-centered and petty, you are only doing yourself and digging your own grave, you basically reap what you sow. By not abandoning projects, by completing and commissioning projects, Sanwo Olu is able to do more and performed better than ambode in less than 2 years. Sanwo-olu Flags Off Blue Line Completion Ambode abandoned the Lagos Metro Rail, but Sawo Olu fast at work to complete and commission the projects and rightfully receive the full glory with Fashola.
