Unfortunately, the government of the day honors and values killer herdsmen, bandits and so called repentant bombers than these intellectual giants.
The government of the day has dashed the hopes of many intellectuals due to tribalistic and nepotistic appointments.

Nigeria! O My Motherland!

Unilorites don't quote me I was in Microsoft imagine cup contest2014 I was also in Google developers group contest 2015...trust me unilorin and lautech guys were just looking so inferior beside these LMU guys. They won both!
And now...we know why

Yes, Landmark in particular being a university founded in 2011 with just 21 departments is very impressive.

The university has surpassed Abuad, Babcock, Redeemers to sit on number two private university in Nigeria (webometrics). The university is growing fast and noticeably.

Nigeria as a country didn't perform exceptionally.

The top 2% represents 159, 683 academics. Nigeria having only 71 is quite poor.

Ghana on the other hand had only 4 academics on the list, which was nothing but shameless.

As a Babcockite, I must say I'm wowed and disappointed that Landmark is out performing us. I can take CU been at part or out performing BU (even though theoretically we are their "senior"wink But LMU? Something right isn't happening at Ilishan

Thinking about this.

Without any grant church schools are flying high.
Kwara should give churches back her schools. We don't need your grant and we would still outperform all your grant funded public schools.

These are the people that should be funded to carry out research work that will benefit the country but no,billions of naira must be given to some illiterate herdsmen because their kinsman is in power !

Nigeria is a failed country.
