Just 5 days into March, several projects already commissioned.

The Lekki 1 junction,
The 2nd roundabout junction,
Abraham Adesanya junction.
Glover Hall commissioned..
LagosRide unveiled.
Pen cinema bridge
Reminds me of when Fashola used to commissioner multiple projects daily and every week.

Sanwo Olu is full steam ahead, gon are the days of useless ambode and abandoned projects.

Lagos is back in business, the master plan is back on track.

God Bless Sanwo Olu

Don’t mind these easterners, that is their lifestyle. They leave stones in the eyes looking for how to pick from another Man’s eye. I have been to most eastern states, many of their Goverrnors are failures, and they won’t see a thing with that. I worked in Aba, Abia State and 9th Mile, Enugu. Most of their cities lack basic amenities. Ambode many of them condemned when he won the election has suddenly become their friend. Not because you they like him, because they want to find avenue to destroy Tinubu’s image and achievements. Am sure if they have a Man like that in South East. They would probably have become united. None of their leaders can stand that same Asiwaju in creativity, ingenuity, care for his Brothers, help rendering and development. Sanwoolu is a perfect example of a good Governor, am an Engineer, working on one of his numerous school projects in Lagos. He is not a noise maker, a silent achiever that is gradually writing is name in the anal of history. God bless him for numerous project he has done without noise, that is why many of them don’t even know what he has done. He is not Ambode that is vindictive , he will pick roads and bridges where people will see him. But abandoned project that would have turn around the fortunes of Lagos Dtate

The major attributes of a good and dedicated leader, they go about their business working silently, diligently and delivering projects left and right without abandoning anything regardless who of who the initiator was or who started the project.

The people making noise and shouting ambode are not Lagosians, they don't care about Lagos and definitely don't know anything about Lagos apart from Tinubu and their hatred and bitterness for him.

See how Ishamed and shut them up with all the projects Sanwo Olu delivered in less than 2 years, far far more than their useless ambode delivered, they are obviously clueless about what Sanwo Olu is completing and commissioning, and when you ask them to list ambode's projects, they can not list more than 3 or 4 projects. Just imagine, after 4 years in office, you can not mount more than 5 while your successor is delivering many times more than that in less than 2 years.

The sadest part is their obsession with other states and lack of care and concern about their own useless and incompetent governors in the SE, a region where commissioning projects is a rarity and something you barely see and when they do, it's either a mediocre road, borehole and some ridiculous nonsense like wheelbarrow.

Was this same Pen cinema bridge we are talking about not abandoned by ambode?

Do you really need a list to know that ambode abandoned projects even with all the reports facts and abandoned projects out there?

Do you really need a list of abandoned projects even though you are in a thread about the same Pen Cinema bridge that was abandoned by the same ambode?

If you really need a list to be spoon-fed known and documented facts, then you are either a 2-year-old baby or just ignorant and mentally redundant, you might also want to look in the mirror for your so-called omo ale.

Lagos State enjoys massive attention on Nairaland.
This platform rarely captures what happens elsewhere in Nigeria, especially the development in the north.
It's a good thing that Arrewa is trying to bridge that Information gap.
Every state deserves some attention so people don't get the impression that Nigeria started and needed in Lagos and Abuja - like el-Rufai's son once argued.
Nairaland pays attention to ANYWHERE development is happening...

Exactly how was it “abandoned”? Or are you struggling with Basic English?! grin
Ambode was working on the project until his term ended. Did you expect that he’ll continue after he left office or refuse to leave office?

Let’s even ignore the fact that Tinubu’s goons at the State House of Assembly refused to pass the budget he submitted in November 2018 for 6 months until he left office in May 2019. Or did you expect him to complete it with his personal money? If that is your definition of “abandoned” (because it certainly is not the English definition), then Tinubu “abandoned” Fourth Mainland Bridge, Lekki Free Zone, Lekki Airport, Eko Akete, etc., while Fashola “abandoned” the Blue Line and Red Line of the Light Rail project, Badagry Expressway, several HOMS estates, etc.

That an officeholder did not finish a project before his term ends does not equate to “abandonment”, particularly when the funding for those projects were provided in the budget that the State Assembly refused to pass until after Ambode left office.

I have actually become a big fan of Sanwo-Olu after my initial suspicion (because he seems to have sense)...
But a “silent achiever” the Pointer most certainly is NOT! BSO is actually the second hardest working dude in Lagos - after his PHOTOGRAPHER!

Anyway, it all good as long as you are “working on one of his numerous school projects”...
Presumably, you did not have an opportunity to work on projects and get some money under the “vindictive” Ambode.

Not surprising that you are a huge worshipper of Tinubu’s brand of MERCANTILE politics. SMH

You should have at least google or consult the dictionary for the meaning of abandon, obviously, you are too lazy to do that.

Ambode was working on the project until his term ended. Did you expect that he’ll continue after he left office or refuse to leave office?
The end of his worthless term was May 29, 2019, but worked stopped and he abandoned the bridge back in 2018. The delivery date was 2018, not 2019 on his way out of office.

Either you are a lair or just don't know elementary arithmetic.

So, you said he did not abandon the project and he was working on the same project that was already abandoned in 2018 while at the same time saying he was denied funds to finish the project and we shouldn't expect him to complete the project with his personal money.

Now, if he worked on the project till May 2019 when he left office, where did he get the money from?

Do you see how silly you sound with your lies and ignorant nonsense?

You can not even align your silly and childish lies together.

How Ambode Abandoned N5bn Cardiac, Renal Centre In Lagos

Nigerians have expressed their disappointments over the continuous abandonment of the multi-billion naira ultra-modern Cardiac and Renal Centre at Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos.

Commissioned by the then governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola on March 18, 2015, the centre was established to address all critical non communicable diseases across the country.

However, a visit by Saturday INDEPENDENT last Wednesday, to the Renal Centre, showed how weeds, reptiles and other animals have encroached upon the property.

Funded by tax payers’ money, the apparent abandonment of the facility by the Lagos State Government has become a thorn in the flesh of Nigerians.

The center, which was built at the cost of N5.6 billion, and remains one of the many legacies of the former Lagos State Governor, now Minister of Works and Housing, Fashola has fallen into deliberate ruins.

https://www.independent.ng/how-ambode-abandoned-n5bn-cardiac-renal-centre-in-lagos/
Ambode abandoned a N5.6 Billion medical facility, he let it rot and decay, a total waste of taxpayer's money.

This is a sad reflection of the evil and calamity called ambode, he set Lagos back for decades.

I don't wish evil "My predecessor will not outshine me" mentality governors on any state,

Obasanjo knocks Ambode for abandoning Lagos rail project

Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has criticised former Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode for abandoning the Lagos light rail project while he was the governor of the state between 2015 and 2019.

“We borrowed to build a light rail in Lagos, embarked on the project and a succeeding governor abandoned the project for his full term of four years at 65 per cent completion when he should have started paying down on the loan,” Obasanjo said on Friday in Lagos as a keynote speaker at the “Why I am Alive” campaign
.

Obasanjo also criticised Ambode of prioritising the construction of Oshodi bus interchange. The terminus was commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari days before Ambode left office even though the project was not completed.

The formal construction of the rail lines began under Babatunde Raji Fashola, who is now Nigeria’s works and housing minister. He was succeeded by Ambode, who Obasanjo said abandoned the rail project that was almost completed.

State officials said, at different times, that the rail lines were a part of the blueprint for the development of the state. Ambode, who was kicked out by his own part after first term, was accused of abandoning the blueprint by his party.

On July 16, 2015, about two months after he came into office, Ambode assured that he would deliver the project to Lagos residents in 12 months.

That deadline fell on July 2016. However, five months after he promised to deliver the project in 12 months, he shifted the completion date to December 2016. But in November 2016, the governor made another volte-face, saying it would now be completed before the end of 2019.

https://guardian.ng/news/obasanjo-knocks-ambode-for-abandoning-lagos-rail-project/
Even OBJ trashed ambode for abandoning projects, useless ambode abandoned metro rail project for the whole of his 4 years in office.

Ambode really set Lagos back for decades.

Question.

If Ambode did 90% of the work, what was the % of work done by Fashola in the above pictures?

Going by the inspection pictures above by Fashola in 2014, are you saying Ambode's 4 years was not enough to complete these almost completed projects with houses already painted and almost ready for commissioning?

You people no dey fear God with your lies? grin grin

You just incriminated ambode even further. grin grin

This project was almost completed and ready for commissioning when Fashola left office, but ambode totally abandoned the project like many across the state.

Why must Sawn Olu be the one to commission this project that was almost completed and houses already painted when ambode sat in office for 4 years?

This is the Clean up job and finishing Sanwo Olu is busy doing all over Lagos, the incompetent mess useless ambode left behind.
