At 10 weeks, your broilers should be above or at least 2kg. If it's that weight and there are 50, the dosage is ok.

The dosage is for every 100kg weight

Emmaachile what can I do

Pls are you saying the birds in this pics are 8wks old?

Its very very profitable high cost of feeding comes with higher sales price but do ur research within ur Area to understand Prevailing market
Price for your preferred week/weight of sales

today I was shocked during my course of research for broiler. in the south east bulk buyers buy @ the rate of 2k per bird at 8wks+ , upon the high cost of feed. but the don't measure with scale
But this your research is not balanced yes they don't measure by weight but look at the size of birds and give u the price to be honest the 8+ weeks ur talking about can also
Be achieved in 6wks all this depends on feeding I can tell u that if u see those they buy and people call it 8+ weeks random weight will be 2kg and above , remember this buyers don't keep record of stocking but they look at the birds and give
You price.
What u will do to make a better projection
Is getting to a farm that is about to sell to them get a scale and weigh the birds then listen to the prices they offer and use that to calculate with weight of the birds with that u will know if there is profit or not

In my area farmers are complaining they sell at loss. Some have even close down their farms. But if you said its still profitable ,can you show us how it is still profitable. May we know your experience in your own area? I am not a broiler farmer but i have relatives that are into it which i support financially sometimes.

Its profitable i have told u to try and weigh those ones sold for 2000 and with the weight size u will
Be able to calculate your profitability in my side life weight is sold between 900-1200 per kg and u can't spend more than 500 - 700 to achieve that weight everything depends on ur feeding
You can also go to any shorprite around u , you will see zartech broilers they look at how much they sell per kilo then do ur analysis and see how much is there cost even though they produce DOC but they spend on management and transportation and they supply thousands every week so if their is no gain they would have been off Biz.
And in the same east am sure all the people producing for the clearance buyers are not at a loss if not there will be no production so try and do ur analysis

You mentioned feeding concerning weight, sir. So my question is how can the feeding be done to achieve 2kg in six weeks?

They look small for eight weeks. Put 5 spoonful of raw palm oil in their water and give them for at least three days.

I have solution and cure to this, but I will tell you later, first try what oga Emmaachile told you, if there is no improvement, I will tell you what to use that won't cost you more than #300 and it will cure between 2-3 days

I lost my biggest male noiler this afternoon due to fight between him and a male turkey. I release all my livestock on free range because of heat, I went to buy CORYL-SP, before I cam back, I met the noiler and turkey in pool of blood, the noiler couldn't survive it. I lost it, i was not happy about it, the turkey is here healthy, but it sustained some injuries too.
This is the only mature male noiler I have for crossing my two mature female noiler

Re: Xmas Broiler Broading In Pictures by Redomi(m): 8:59pm On Mar 07, 2021
The turkey brooding my noiler eggs just hatch one of the egg tonight and it is just 18 days.
I have a crate fertilized noiler eggs left, so i planned to take it to a man that has incubator around, the man insist on #100 per egg, #3000 for the full crate.
He said price of fuel has increased.

Unless you see a good client buying...
At an agreed price/kilo at maturity....
Or you have a frozen outlet you can sell...
your matured birds.....
Broiler biz is not profitable..
Esp in this period of high feeds and cost of birds...

If ur sure the eggs are fertile the #100 is not too bad cos the incubator needs to be on 24/7 and its gen that will power and u know cost of fuel is not smiling these days

Well we learn everyday but in case of next time Turkey don't play with dominance anytime u introduce a new female expect ones of your male turkeys to die , cos the male will fight for attention and in turkey world fight ends with deaths unfortunately because the male noiler here wants to hold its ground the male turkey descended on it.
But we learn everyday

Thank you mentor, but do you think 50/50 will be okay for the sharing formular for the 3 female turkey? They will be with me till they hatch, I will feed them till they hatch and we share all the surviving chicks into two
