I registered in January before they stopped Registering. But unfortunately, they rejected my Voters card and NIN slip i uploaded. I did not have Passport at the time. When i got my passport, i went back and uploaded it and discovered they have even stopped verification. I have access to Demo

This is quite ridiculous though. People earn in Naira, buy properties in Naira, save and spend in Naira - it's simply part of everyday life for anyone living in Nigeria. We keep running down everything Nigerian and expect things to change. We can advocate for diversification (across countries, asset classes etc) without such statements imho.

I lost 2 million dollars today.

It was my fault. After buying my normal pre market stock, I went back to the app to check again and another stock has overtaken the one i bought. Greed made me to still use the free fund i had to buy the new Number one pre market gainer. When the market opened, the two orders were executed as usual and it went into red like it always does the first minute, the loss was so big because i was losing in two stocks and i didn't have enough money left to carry the weight of the two loses which was running into - 400k plus.

So T212, quickly sold some of my stocks on my behalf so i won't run into negative balance, went back and bought those stocks again. Before i knew what was happening, i was already -2 million plus down.

I lost 2million today. So sad

Jokes apart, I didn't know a broker can sell off your stocks WHILE there is still free funds available. Unless you are doing CFD trading maybe.

I've made all the mistakes i will ever make, so I'm ready to go live.

If Trading 212 don't verify me month end, I will fund my ChoiceTrade and start making money.

If i make enough money I will start a brokerage firm for Nigerians particularly.

Nigerians should be able to trade US stocks. All stocks listed in US not 15% like Chaka or Trove. I will make enough money and my clients will make money too.

Even if another person has set up a firm before i make money, i will still set up my own. Competition is business.
I will have to change tactics, what I'm even planning to go and study in the US is not even my calling. Stock market is my calling. I belong here
