Even Mastercard and Visa are adopting crypto technologies now, backward CBN outrightly banned it and is returning Nigeria back to stone-age. Why fight a technology you have no power over?

You are only limiting Nigerians from opportunities available to the rest of the world. Crypto is here to stay, even Kenyan government promotes it. Is it by force to store your assets in the failed Naira?

Countries that have issued their own cryptocurrencies include Ecuador, China, Senegal, Singapore, Tunisia, with Estonia, Japan, Palestine, Russia and Sweden looking to launch their own national cryptocurrencies. Our own mumu CBN and mumu Emefiele just ban the thing ni sha before even knowing its meaning. How stupid is that? The idiot says kidnappers use it, as if kidnappers don't use naira. All the money they paid bandits and terrorists, are those bitcoins or naira?

Even the US Federal reserves knows it can't outrightly ban cryptocurrency and rather regulates it, our wack CBN just woke up one day and started blocking everyone's account. The vice president warned, rather they still block accounts while "their IT department investigates". What the hell is the wack IT department still investigating in 2021 in a technology that has been embraced by the rest of the world since 2009?

So, if anyone wants to shut down the entire financial system in Nigeria, its very easy!!! Just transfer N100 to as many random bank accounts in Nigeria with "Crypto" boldly written on the description. Starting with politicians, ministries, states accounts etc. By the time they close all the politicians, ministries and states accounts for receiving N100 "Crypto" money, they will realize they are very stupid for this policy.

If you want to block your enemy's bank account, just send him or her N20 with "Crypto" as description. In fact, lets even send the N20 to Emefiele's account and see how uglier he looks when his bank closes his account for "trading crypto" because descriptions say crypto. Mumu man, making mumu policies over wise ones.
By the time they block everybody's account. That definitely will shut down the banking system from this stupid Emefiele's policy.
Lol. Me I can't send 100 to 10 politicians oh. Money that I can use to sub.

P2P is bae....the best thing that happened to me during the lock down was crypto gifts from my WhiteBoard Animation Customers.
If you are a youth and yet to actively earn online with foreign currencies or crypto then you are missing in action.
BITCOINCASH is the new rave of the moment.
I have youths that learnt how to earn online from me and they require to be paid their $50, $80,$300 in BITCOINCASH!!!
That way they also use it to leverage in FOREX TRADES hereby making extra $30 - $70 Dollars daily under my tutelage.

Is anyone mining in Nigeria, how can i get cheap mining cards
you can't mine cryptocurrency with cheap mining cards or should I say anyhow graphics card... If you really want to mine cryptocurrency, you have to invest a lot of capital... Even one of the cheapest card (nvidia gtx 1050ti) which sells for 35,000 naira, can't mine more than 12,000 naira a month( with ten of them)....

If you want to mine cryptocurrency for serious profit, like say 16,000 dollars a month, you have to go for the big dogs...like nvidia rtx 3060, titan, titan v and co... And mind you, they are hellishly expensive...you have to have at least 10 million naira of capital to mine cryptocurrency in Nigeria...

You are the dumb one. Did u watch the video this thread is about? Has your account been blocked? Mine has, and its either the description says crypto or the funds came from marked Nigerian crypto exchanges.

Share your account number and I guarantee you it will be blocked before next week by the time I finish with you, using the flaw in this policy as my only weapon.

Ecobank withdrew my money, then closed my account. I REPORTED them to CBN , they called me to come and take my money at the branch i opened the account. I went there, they treated me like their biggest customer with the branch manager apologising..he gave me MANAGER S CHEQUE to collect my money..i quickly went and deposited it in another bank where i have account. After two days the money landed in the account.

However, two other banks i use for crypto did not close theirs. BUT I HAVE STOPPED USING THEM IN CASE OF INCASITY grin

Even Mastercard and Visa are adopting crypto technologies now, backward CBN outrightly banned the thing ni sha, returning Nigeria back to stone-age.

An average 20 year old in Canada, UK, Europe and the US etc that taps into crypto can make a living off it, they want our 40 year olds in Nigeria to be drivers, conductors, laborers, touts, truck pushers etc by restricting them access to whats available to the rest of the world. Regardless of if they're graduates or not? Thunder fire una policies.
I dont blame them, when EFCC and police automatically calls anyone with a laptop a yahoo boy, why won't CBN call anyone that transacts in crypto a kidnapper?
Why fight a technology you have no power over? The policy is even dead on arrival because crypto transactions still happen daily in Nigeria via p2p that vulture Emefiele cant figure out yet. Mumu man.

You are only limiting Nigerians from opportunities available to the rest of the world. Crypto is here to stay, even Kenyan government promotes it. Is it by force to store your assets in the failed Naira?

So if one of the ways banks identify crypto transactions and block accounts is because its has "crypto" or "bitcoin" in its description, if anyone wants to shut down the entire financial system in Nigeria, its simply very easy!!! The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) flags certain keywords in the description/remark field of transactions.

If you must write or type in the description/remark field, avoid putting cryptocurrency related words like "crypto", "bitcoin", and so on.
The description/remark field is optional, so it may be left blank.
