Lol!

You continue to convince yourself that what you say is the truth when the truth is you have not even read your Bible to know what you should believe or not.

Like with marriage, you will find out the truth right here on this earth.
Lol. This one is a case of student now tutoring the tutor...well I'm ready to learn

Are you ready to learn? Then start by reading the Bible from the beginning to the end. Really read it instead of allowing yourself to be blinded by what you already believe. And do not be afraid to question your Father God for no true Father kills his own child.

Below is a gift to help you get started.

Download free copy of ESV in audio

Ah! Class has started already, or have you not started reading?

Your learning will start with you asking questions about what you read. Do let me know when you have finished the first five chapters.

And consider opening a thread for your learning.

You spent a whole lot of time to write all that! I will summarise in two lines.
1. Jesus walked the earth for 3 1/2 years. He set the foundation of what Apostle Paul and other expounded on. What Paul preached is the same as Jesus' message.
2. If you build a house to roof and plaster it and left it for your son to paint it. After the painting the house looked so fine. Can we say it's not the same house just because it is painted?
Not in this case. Since the builder of the House says He will come back and test every work done. So not every work that will be done in His Name will be of Him and He warned you of this too.

Yeah, I agree with your post in terms of criticism. But in the end, both of you are saying same thing. Which is Paul isn't contradicting what Christ says, but Paul is expressing all what Christ says in clearer terms. And if any one feels contradictory, then the help of the holy spirit is needed to explain it more for better understanding. So basically both of you're saying same thing.
What op was just saying was that he's debunking the misconceptions which says that Paul writings and speech are contradicting that of Christ
actually It is incorrect to state that some of Paul's teachings as written in his letters do not contradict the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Paul simply explained/summarize what the bible has been saying from genesis.... Remember when Jesus said there's so much he has to tell but they wouldn't be able to bear it as at that time but that he would send another comforter.... So there isn't any difference in Jesus' teaching and Paul's..

Jesus in the four gospel was talking about the future, about what would happen after his resurrection... So Paul simply explained it...
Wrong! Jesus Christ in His teachings was in fact giving you the details of the New Agreement which you have to sign on to here and now.

Paul's teachings focused on his opinions of what people did and said but not on the details of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Paul then goes on to attempt to add commandments where Jesus Christ warned His followers against doing such.

It will be equally incorrect to state that some of Jesus Christ's teachings as written in the New Testament do not contradict some teachings in the Old Testament, but it is amusing how you see Paul's contradictions but refuse to see those of Christ.

budaatum:
The evidence is in the fact that you would never inflict those Old Testament laws on anyone.

You will for instance not stone your disobedient son to death.

You will not put adulterers to death.

And instead of an eye for an eye, you will turn the other cheek and forgive and forgive and forgive.

But do let me know if I am wrong about you please.

Yeah but it's only a farce. Look critically at OPs post you'll see its really trying to replace some of Jesus' teachings with a more "progressed" teaching of Paul. Again and again it makes comparisons towards this. That's what I'm very much opposed to. A lot of people think Paul brought more light to what Jesus brought and as such we should move on to that not realising Paul's letters' scope was limited to gentile churches while Jesus's went as far as the end of the age and were from a higher perspective. And such people will often promote Paul's teaching and try to look for how to make Jesus' agree with it(in their attempt to not discard Jesus'). But It's a world apart from taking Jesus' teaching literally and getting to see Paul's agree with it (which we should tend to). That's why I suggested the safe approach in my post. Again I stress that we are not progressing from Jesus' teaching to Paul's (just because the gospels come before the epistles) but from Paul's to Jesus' because Jesus spoke from the higher perspective. So u see that the post and I only seem to agree but are still worlds apart. It is VERY dangerous for our spiritual lives to remove Jesus' teaching from being our foundation or to at any point progress from it to any other's, we should only look to see them in the teachings of others. Believe me, this makes a great difference in our lives.
Paul's teachings that do not agree with the teachings of Jesus Christ are meant to be thrown out Jesus Christ Himself commanded we do to all such doctrines and traditions of men which Jesus Christ started are nothing but lies meant to deceive people away from the Truth and Power that is the Word of God.

Kobojunkie:
Jesus Christ never commanded you to believe in the words of anyman but Himself to begin with. So if all you believe in just what is written in the 4 Gospels, you will in fact enter into Heaven is you obey. He did not send His followers to read doctrines and traditions of men in addition to His teachings -He commanded against the adoption of such "lies", He called them undecided
But they are all in the bible. Are you picking and choosing what to believe in the bible?

Did God tell you somewhere that if it is all in the Bible, He, God, said it? undecided

Jesus Christ Himself told you that it is His own teachings that you should accept(trust) and obey - He told you this over 2000 years ago. But here you are, 2000 years later, choosing instead the doctrines and teachings of men over the very teachings of Jesus Christ(Spirit). undecided

You are meant to "cherry-pick" when it comes to that which is not from the very Mouth of God Himself. That book contains the words of Pharaoh, demons, Satan, King Saul and so many examples who did not believe or obey God. Do you believe the words recorded as theirs as truth too since those are contained in the same Bible? undecided

Again, Jesus Christ warned you against the doctrines and traditions(commandments) of men, what He called lies that only serve to make void the power of God in your life by your adoption of them. Basically, only the very teachings of Jesus Christ matters..the Word of God is fire and it is by this fire that all you have ever done will be tested. So why adopt teachings that contradict or deviate in any way from it? undecided
