I like the black market better because the rate at the banks is too low.
Imagine, 408 per dollar and they will want to sell at black market rate o.

I don't get o. Since you still receive your dollars at the bank and exchange at the black market, why the extra 5 Naira from CBN?
What's CBN benefiting from this scheme?

After the division lot of foreign capital will flow into Oduduwa and Biafra Nation people are just waiting. yearly about $25 billion from the diaspora flowing to Nigeria over 90% of the money are from men and women from the south.

After the declaration of independence, the southern economy will boom, even guys will be flying to Oduduwa on weekends just to Bleep their classmates.

That is because when you receive money through domiciliary accounts, it is not seen as remittance. That is bank to bank transactions

International money transfer organization is all about remittance and the cbn naira to dollars promo is for only remittance

How is receiving money in dom account not classed as remittance? The only way to receive money now in Nigeria through international money transfer organisations or international banks is into a dom account.

Crash the black market, they are trying to have a single exchange rate. They are encouraging people to either sell at the black market or sell it to close associates. Either way BDC operators will get SCREWED in d long run as even USDT, USDC & BUSD dey enter thier domain real hard

If someone send 10 dollar to you, bank won't pay you Naira. They will pay you your 10 usd plus 5 Naira on each dollar which in this case is 50 naira.

But dollar is just 380 naira over the counter or I don't get it

you mean #1=$1
Not so. If you are sent $10, the $10 will be credited to your account and you will get an additional ₦5 for each of the $10 you received. Meaning ₦5 *10. That is what it means

Ok. Did your friend you sent 15K to her dom account, did she receive the naira equivalent? I asked someone in the bank that if I do wire transfer from my foreign account to my nigeria dom account, I don't get the naira incentive.

What is saner in the FrontPage today and what has made it dirty the previous days ? If it is the report of how Ahmed Wase refused the request of Tiv in Diaspora to be deliberated on the floor of the House of Representatives, then, it is saner. =N=5 to dollar incentives is no News and doesn't make FrontPage reasonable. Also, giving Buhari the highest award in Niger Republic does not add beauty to a FrontPage.

Nigeria has remained backward for decades and there is no hope of moving forward under the chaotic invasion of ancestral lands driving out the real land owners away, injustice and oppression . Most of the Nigerians in diaspora carrying out the remittance left Nigeria in frustrations. They know about injustice . Most of the remittance come from Southerners abroad. If the issue of injustice and nepotism and the fact that Nigeria cannot work they way it is and awareness should begin is what doesn't make FrontPage sane, then, there is nothing you can do about that.
