Woman allegedly confesses to sleeping with her boss and two other men after it was revealed that it was the cause of her husband’s illness and eventual death.

Some social media users alleged that she broke the “ibegwu culture” of the Ogugu people of Kogi state. The tradition forbids married women from sleeping with other men and has a punishment of their husbands being inflicted with an illness that can lead to their death.

It was further learned that when the woman allegedly confessed to the acts of infidelity, it was already late as her husband died thereafter.

As far as I'm concerned, the man simply died of illness, not because of any infidelity. Belief in the potency of that tradition is mere superstition.

I can bet, several women in that community who subscribe to that tradition are involved in infidelity and their husbands are still bouncing.

That she cheated on her husband and the husband died within same period is mere coincidence.

This does not by any chance imply I support infidelity. What I disagree with is linking the man's death to her infidelity.
