Haitians in the US (when the U.S. began considering an end to the temporary residency program for Haitians that had been in effect since the 2010 earthquake), and lots of Nigerians (including one from Texas facing child pornography charges), and all other ilegal immigrants just headed north.. People were obtaining US visas in their respective countries, only to land in the states and head to the Canada border the same day.

How Canada resolved the crisis was via speedy trial and deportation. I think Obama used same method. There was a record number of deportation under Obama. Biden might want to look into that as well.
They could also borrow some ideas from the UK by going after the employers hiring immigrants for under the table wages.

The funny part of this immigration debate is that I know so many Africans including many Nigerians that came into the Fruited Plains and overstayed their visas and ended up getting permanent residency enroute to Citizenship. How convenient for them now advocating shutting the borders now. What would have happened if people were advocating the same thing against them when they overstayed their visas as they are advocating against those trying to better their lives. People will do anything to get their families out of poverty and I am not in favor of illegal immigration but it's what it's knowing the history of America and the geographical location of the United States.

A greater percentage of Nigerians at one time or the other overstayed their visas . Everybody is looking for a better life. The process knows how best to go about it as this is not the first time it is happening. so it is a normal something.. There was a Mexican lady here about a year ago advocating for shutting down the border during the Presidential campaign just to suck up to Trump. Guess what happened to her ?. She was going through the process of adjusting her status and the Immigration office found some information about her and she ended up being deported back to Mexico. Do these guys know the amount of Nigerians that overstayed their visas in Europe and America. Imagine our friends here advocating for all these Nigerians to be deported. I guess they think only Mexicans, Guatemalans and other undocumented immigrants from Latin America should be subjected to deportation. Some of them here probably know guys that are in America illegally. Imagine if Americans were shouting about deporting all these Africans that are overstaying their visas. What's happening is that our friends are being brainwashed by the Republicons immigration propaganda that comes out of bigotry, hatred and xenophobia against colored people. You don't see RepubliKKKans advocating for deportation of those illegal immigrants from Eastern Europe.

Do your mass deportation should be used against Nigerians too. How do undocumented immigrants from Latin America affects you ?. Like I said before, I am not in favor of illegal immigration but if I am a Mexican and poor like a church rat, will cross the border in a jiffy to better my life. Have seen it all in America growing up here and I have no qualms about a guy trying to better his life knowing the history of how Europeans came into America and kill off millions of Native Americans. Immigration has a way of sorting itself out and I doubt if you can work in a farm like Mexicans do for little or nothing. Those immigrants are truly the bread basket of America and they commit little crime compared to native born Americans according to official FBI statistics.
