Besides, most of those undocumented immigrants runs away from any city that's close to the border because anyone can be stopped about 150 miles to the border for citizenship identification according to the immigration laws.

So if you hire an illegal and pay them less than minimum wages that's two crimes you've committed. The illegal migrant will of course be deported if illegal.

Point is, it isn't just the crime of the migrant, but that of the indigene who hires them too.

I was in Nigeria as usual to visit my parents and left for South Africa after three weeks I lost my passport at Oliver Thambo International Airport in Joburg and I had to go to American Embassy to get another Passport, you won't believe the number of South Africans on the queue applying for visas. They all have the same thing in mind and you know what it's. The guys working at the hotel I was staying outside of Joburg were telling me their preferred destination is America and then Great Britain. I asked why and they told me in unison of the bad economy they are going through and I remind them about how tough it is to get permanent residency and work not to talk of the bad economy in US due to the pandemic going on. Those brothers looked at me like I am crazy. That's how bad some people feel when things are bad and many Nigerians are feeling like that now. If you tell them they will be illegal immigrant after their visas expires, do you think those guys will care. It's human nature to better their lives and being undocumented doesn't stop some people.

You are right. But note that you mentioned 3 cities which are in Texas. And also, you have to consider that Texas is industrialized. So the opportunities are limitless.

Imagine being stuck in Nigeria with no income or working for peanuts and you have a chance of getting a Visa to any country in Europe or Canada or US, you will jump at the chance in a second and damn the consequences of being an undocumented immigrant in few months after your arrival. That's why I feel for those undocumented immigrants because it's not easy to leave your family and comfort zones to work for minimum wage in a foreign land with different cultures and ways of lufe.

He happened to have heard from a friend about what info and complained bitterly. He said he never envisaged he could stoop low. He said his friends that invited him to come over did not break down to him.

So I told him to turn himself in that's it's a 50/50. He gets deported or adjusted. That dude worships me! He has been granted asylum.

But how many people people can take that risk. Bro, have seen. What people do here people back in Nigeria must know based on their status before departing.

Have met several professionals who fell in this trap. Some made it to get papers but always complain about the years they were dormant and had to work hard for peanuts.

I think the conclusion should be, if you can afford to migrate legally, don't try coming illegally. They will explain to you like it takes 1-2 years, and 10 years will be like yesterday when it dawns.

I told him the consequences after suggesting. I clearly stated out. It's a 50/50. I did not mandate him, neither did I lead him on. I just showed the way.

My conscience still won't be happy with me if I bounced him and refuse to tell him the truth. He was a complete stranger. Nationality unites us.
