Still not heard from Manitoba for September admission, though i got student number is there any reason to be worried?

Hello TANTUMERGO007,

How old is the application now? No need to be worried. A decision will surely be communicated to you when the application has been processed.

Best of Luck

Thanks so much

After the PFL is it a guarantee for rejection or what?

Hello Ozone00001,

If the response provided in responding to the PFL was satisfactory, the officer will okay the application for possible approval. If not, it could be a straight refusal and/or a ban.

Best of Luck

@lekiboboe. My resumption is September 2021 (Fall). I am yet to submit application because of proof of fund. Please help with this information. Thank you in anticipation.

Hello OctGsam,

You still have time to put in your application. Get your friend to transfer the funds to either of your parent not sponsoring—or playing crucial role—so the funds can come to you as a gift from the concerned parent. The deposit narrative of the funds should be "study support funds in Canada."

Best of Luck

Good evening everyone,

Please does anyone have any information about UBC and university of Victoria.

Has anyone received an admission offer for fall 2021 academic session from them?

My application has been in review since January. I submitted in December.

JustMellow:

Hello Kayyyy,

In reverse psychology, it will be inappropriate or wrong to advise or encourage anyone to opt for a Diploma after a first degree. Few applicants gets approval, but it doesn't mean it is the most appropriate approach especially when "study progression/career advancement is a rule to go by.

Honestly, I understand your standpoint, but if sure advise or encouragement is given here; it may not speak well of the reputation of the thread. Hence, all advise dished here should be based on 'best practice.'

An immigration lawyer or a well-grounded professional who is an expert in the field will never advise a prospect applicant to go for a Diploma after a first degree. If this happens, the concerned person (prospect applicant) should question the credibility and immigration knowledge of the party.

In summary, the bolded isn't a well-thought comment (on the subject matter).

Cheers and one love!
Well the bolded is my honest opinion, we are all entitled to our individual opinions.

September admission letter, can you confirm if it's out as I applied for Manitoba University

Hello TANTUMERGO007,

When was your program deadline date? The processing countdown starts immediately after the deadline date.

I really can't confirm if U of M has started doling out LOA. Also, how LOAs are dole out varies from respective institutions (or departments).

Hopefully, you should get a response by April.

Best of Luck

Thanks so much @just mellow
Thanks to @ lekiboboe for your input and advice also.
I sent a mail to the school requesting why I was refused admission and saying how I hv passed through the hurdle of getting a study visa. And now refused admission on my third trial.

Cut the long story short they gave me the admission. My portal was changed from refused to admitted

To God be the glory

Please am I post send this admission letter to IRCC via web form? And what’s the consequences of not doing that? Also while sending the updated admission letter what should I write as a short note?

Hello Royalty95,

Good to know the decision was overturned by your DLI, thanks to your thoughtfulness.

There is no need to notify IRCC as your application has been finalized. All that's left is for you to get packing.

Big Congratulations once more.

GIC is not available for Nigerians or is there any other means to go about this ??
JustMellow:

Hello Prodigy20,

Honestly, it may be best if you can pay your first session fees and if possible, open a GIC or have your LE in your personal account.

The resonation of your opening statement sounds like you're going for a 2nd UG?

Best of Luck
