I don't think I have read in any history where they say oh yeah, a certain country used to be great, then illegal immigration brought the country to its kneel.

Most of These so called illegal immigrants are running from poverty and would do shitty jobs most Americans will avoid on a good day or find a way to assign it to machines or robots. why would anyone have problem with it being done by humans to make ends meat and feed his family back home and thereby contributing a little he can to the country?



To me, What usually brings a nation down is always politics and it's political leaders not immigrants trying to earn a decent living.


Politicians trying so hard to make poor immigrants the problem instead of doing the job they are supposed to be doing by enacting laws that will make catching criminals easier (be it legal or illegal immigrants) or look for creative ways to solve problems witout creating unnecessary hate all the time.

Exactly what I was trying to get Coronovirus and others like him to understand. It's like climbing a tree and then kicking the ladder away. There's no single country that illegal immigration destroys in World's history and you rightly noted that bad political leaders like Trump and probably Buhari are the ones destroying countries. All my life growing up till today, never felt threatened by undocumented immigrants in America as long as they are not into criminal activities. If our guys here are advocating for shutting the US borders and mass deportation, do they know how many Africans including thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Nigerians that will be affected. Last point, I have been to Central Iowa and you couldn't believe what these Hispanics do at the farms for peanuts that Americans or Nigerians won't even do. That's why I refer to them as the Bread basket of America.

so obviously the illegals would be lower than that of the U.S
